I'm 26 years old and happily married with one puppy and hopes of children in the not-so-distant future. My dear father is to blame for my frightening HP obsession, as he was the one who sent me the first 3 books in 1999, little knowing he was creating a monster!
Cute. Are you making fun of H/G? If so, it gets a 10! If not... er... please don't hate me!
Please ignore what my evil twin said below. I did not intend to flame. I respect you as a writer and the intent behind your stories.
Hilarious! I can tell that you and I have a mutual love of making fun of shippers and really bad romance fics.
LOL Stefanie, stinky buns? Sorry, couldn't resist... But I wondered the same thing. Oddish, thank you for the kind mention! I don't think I'm always that nice when I review, but I try to be! Anyway, great job with this chapter - the more quirky details, the better! I especially liked where you had Ginny telling the Headmistress her story; again, I was touched. (I really love Ginny as a character and I hope Ms. Rowling will give us a little more of her in the next 2 books! By the way, this is the only story about Ginny I've ever read that is about something other than pairing her up with Harry, although I don't mind those either. :-)
I loved this chapter. The Hat was both hilarious and touching. Brilliant!
Wow, a peek inside an American wizard school! How neat! You seem to have thought of everything, too! The NMZ (?) is an interesting idea, and I like the Indian Potions Master.
Beautiful. Love it so far.
I love this story, too! Especially your depiction of Bella - delightfully wicked, yet so naive and unwittingly transparent.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review, Mellowdrama. :)
This is very, very good. That's all I can think of to say.
Pretty good start. Will we get to find out exactly what Harry happened to glean from Voldemort's mind?
Author's Response: slowly but surely, you will see everything, thanks for the review
Aww, that was so cute, exactly how I pictured a 5-year-old Hermione!
Wonderful. I can tell I'm really going to enjoy this one.
Author's Response: Hello again, Mellowdrama! :) To prevent future disappointment I must tell you now that Snape will not be appearing in this story. Much as I love him, I couldn't squeeze him into the plot at all. I hope this won't detract from your enjoyment. It's going to get a lot more Christmassy before we're through. :)
You are a WONDERFUL writer. I feel like I'm right inside Ginny's shoes! (Thank you & your Betas for making the effort to spell, punctuate, etc. correctly - it is so much harder to enjoy stories that are full of errors. :-)
Wow! So far, I love it! You have the characters down great, especially Ron & Hermione arguing.
Author's Response: Thanks! Thanks for visiting my FanFiction! Keep checking back for more chapters!
Very good story! I'm enjoying this. I spotted one problem with this chapter, though... Molly Weasley is way too old to be at Hogwarts with the Marauders. Ron and Harry were both born when James and Lily were about 21. According to the ages of the Weasley children, at the time your story takes place, Molly has just given birth to Percy! (Maybe that's why she looks chubby.) :-)
Author's Response: Hey! Thanks for the review. Yes, I figured that. I was never too sure about their ages.
But that's the beauty of a fan fic. They can be whatever you want them to. ;)
And that being chubby thing? Was just a comment, really. But y'know, being pregnant works.
Hee hee... who wouldn't want to do it with Sirius? Just kidding - I have no idea! Something that the letters stand for?
Poignant and beautifully written. Almost made me cry. It's so hard to see someone you love hurting and not know what to do.
Author's Response: Oh my god, that is sweetest review I have ever gotten. Thank you so much!
Well, I finally read it! It's really sweet... made me smile. Not bad for a first fic! Keep working at the writing; you'll keep improving!
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. As for improving try Spirits in the future, I like to think I improved quite a bit.
