7-12-2010: I decided to revisit MNFF to read some quality fanfics, and realized that this site helped a lot in my own writing, both fanfic and personal. I am currently debating as to whether or not I should start posting some of my newer stuff here, and I'm thinking I just might, at least some of my one-shots. If you are interested, please go to my blog (which is rated somewhat mature, only because my fics that are discussed are rated mature) and let me know. I'd love your input, and I've certainly grown as a writer.

Great Job! I liked how you made the reader feel and understand Hermione's emotions. In HBP, JKR kind of made Ron and Hermione seem snotty to each other, adn she didn't describe the way they felt (probably since it's Harry's POV, lol). But you did go into Hermione's emotions, and I like that. Excellent!

I give you a 9.5/10. I like the idea, and I thought you did a ratehr good job of writing it down. There were a few techincal mistakes, which were probably accidental, but I noticed instead of 'be' you typed 'me.' I was a little confused by this sentence: ''There were many mysteries yet to be solved about the town that remained to be solved.'' But maybe I'm just reading it wrong. Overall, good job! I like the beginning, and I really like the plot idea. Good job! =)

Author's Response: Well thank you, RupertsPhoenix! "Different yet the same," was exactly what I was going for. I use my ideas about what I think will happen given a certain situation, even if I've read it before, because to me it makes sense...that's not saying that I my story represents what I want to happen, mind you. Chapter four is with my beta, so it shouldn 't be too much longer.
PS, thanks for the favourites, and I do write original works. ABHB is, in fact, me practicing using female first person for a novel I am working on at the moment.

Author's Response: First of all, I\'m sorry about the delay. I\'ve not had much computer time lately. I would like to say though that I\'ve been thinking about this review a lot. I\'ve sent in chapter four, and it was rejected. It was returned with a note that basically said it will not be accepted unless major changes are done too it for one reason or another--all of which were valid reasons. However, chapter four needs to be the way it is and all of the moderators concerns about the story all but disappear in the fifth chapter. Alas, all my petitions to the moderators have fallen upon deaf ears. I have not received one reply in regards to chapter four, and I can\'t submit the chapters together per queue guidelines. However, you will find chapter four if you follow the link in my profile to my LJ.
