7-12-2010: I decided to revisit MNFF to read some quality fanfics, and realized that this site helped a lot in my own writing, both fanfic and personal. I am currently debating as to whether or not I should start posting some of my newer stuff here, and I'm thinking I just might, at least some of my one-shots. If you are interested, please go to my blog (which is rated somewhat mature, only because my fics that are discussed are rated mature) and let me know. I'd love your input, and I've certainly grown as a writer.

Author's Response: OMG!!!!!!!! I am sooooo sorry about the long wait!!!!! My computer crashed and I had to try and find the story after it came back!!!!! But I finally got it!!!! A note on some things, I've had to rework the story so many times that Hermione doesn't let herself go!!!!! It's a sort of misunderstanding. I'm sorry, but the way it is now is more like Hermione. Please forgive me for the long wait, or else I'll be very very sad and I won't finish the story. Also, look out for my new story, The Fifth Pair, coming soon...

Summary: Remember when Harry went down to Hagrid's to get Slughorn's memory? The only mention of Ron and Hermione is Lavender demanding to know why Ron was up in the boys' dormatories with Hermione. I, myself, would have rather seen how that played out, and joined Harry later. But, sorrowfully, we didn't, and, thus, a fanfic was born.

Slightly OOC on the part of some characters, but not too much!

very, very, very cute. This is one of the better one shots I've read. A lot of one shots don't seem to end, but I think you picked a pretty good stopping point. Good one! =)

Author's Response: Lol, good to hear. I LOVE to write one-shots. The people who write chapter stoies (no offense) take too long to finsih them. One-shots are easier. But I do have a chapter story coming out, and I will add a new chapter every week!
