If you're looking me up, you probably like my stories, so thanks! Hope you've left a review; I'm always glad to get one.
Three stories--Harry 5.5, Harry 5.9, and Black's World--form my Saving Sirius trilogy. Black's World was awarded an Order of Merlin, First Class for Best AU at Fiction Alley. Enjoy!
Another good chapter with some very funny line. I'd have thought Clancy would go for the ring, but she's always surprising. Was Severus telling the whole truth?
Author's Response: Yes, as unlikely as it may seem, he was telling the truth. Clancy objected to the way in which Snape presented the ring to her, and his motivation for doing so. Thanks for reviewing.
Oh, my dear, this is so funny! I wish the system would let me go back and highlight all the bits that had me laughing uproariously but I was lucky to get into reviews. After so many Harry-is-miserable-at-the-Dursleys' stories (including my own), it's great to see the skinny (not buff) guy doing something other than moping. Dudley primping for a date, Petunia fluttering about, Vernon with shoes off in the lounge--I could see it all except for naked Harry, of course. Phew!
So, who are these girls after? Dudley?! Great job of making them parallels to Hermione and Ginny. Don't know where you're going with this, but can't wait to find out. Update, pretty please?
Clancy and Snape are wonderfully matched. Love the part where Snape finds a kindred spirit in the young boy. Good job.
Clancy knows her man. Great tale and great writing.
Snape sure outfoxed Hermione! Hope that Clancy and he had a truly memorable evening. Thanks!
Beautifully written and nicely in character. Bravo!
Author's Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave this review--glad you enjoyed, Laudomia!
Good characterization. Don't fret over Ginny's eye color or mystical link with Lily; love can be enough.
Very enjoyable start to your story, and pretty much spot on for teen boys. Nothing worse (well, there are a few things that are worse) than drinking and dialing! Poor Ron will hate himself in the morning. Come to think of it, so will Harry when the hangovers hit.
These guys just keep digging themselves in deeper, don't they? At least they're acting like ordinary teens. Nice to know that there's no hex on Ginny--she deserves to make her own decisions.
I keep chuckling over the fix these guys are in. Thanks for another good chapter.
Many wonderful lines in this chapter. My favorite: “Feelings? What feelings?” The idea of a Chastity Spell not repelling the Right Man is intriguing, but it is like knowing the future. Will it change the relationship proceeds?
I second the praise for "romantically challenged", and Molly is cool. Great characterization and storytelling.
Sigh. I enjoyed every word, and now it's over. I sincerely hope you'll write more. Please?
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really had fun writing this one!
Good opening chapter. I liked the stag party (Percy WOULD be grim on the eve of his wedding) and poor Ron's hangover, which was sadly accurate. Then you leave us wondering why Ron's afraid of Hermione. There's been trouble in Paradise? Have to read on...
Author's Response: Yup, Percy's wedding is running according to his usual Military precision! Thanks for the review, hope you keep reading!
Kingsley’s behaving oddly, but isn’t under Imperious or any of the usual controls (Polyjuice Potion?). Emmeline vanishes while stunned (Disillusionment Charm?). Snape’s incommunicado. Everything’s still mysterious. (You’re pulling a JKR on us!) Meanwhile, you’ve brought in two new characters—Brian and Margot—plus Hannah Abbott, healer. Hmm… Is it something about the number thirteen or the fact that the captive Death Eaters are not in Azkaban? Is Hesler really Bellatrix? All right, you have me stumped. Meanwhile, the main characters continue to behave so realistically, I’m mightily impressed. Give us more soon, please.
Author's Response: Do you know I haven't had a review in days and I logged in this morning to find 4 new reviews! Such a lovely start to the morning! Now, you know I can't really answer all of your questions (what kind of writer would I be if I gave away the end of the story?)! Thanks for the review, I'm really glad you're enjoying it!
Oho! Emmeline wasn't stunned? Is she the mole inside the Order?
Author's Response: Hee hee! Oh you read a lot of the detective genre, don't you? I love reading your guesses!
After 13 logins and 20 minutes, I finally got here. Phew!
Oh! This chapter really did bring tears to my eyes. Poor Ron—and poor Luna. Interesting interchange between Ginny and Hermione. I also worried that the twins would do something to the cake and was glad to see that Ron wasn’t going to tolerate any nonsense about that. Wouldn’t you know that Percy’s only fear about his wedding would be that something might go awry with the ceremonies? (Heh, heh. Weddings never do go off as planned.) The drunk scene was perfect—could just see Arthur staggering around with Molly. At least he didn’t reveal all their secrets. Hermione’s being so obtuse; she needs a wake-up call soon.
Author's Response: I know, the 'log in' is so annoying. Thanks for persevering though! Very important interchange between Ginny and Hermione I would say, lol! Also, who said the twins didn't do anything to the cake? ;-) I'm glad you liked the chapter, thanks for the review!
Gripping. I feel so bad for Ron--but I expect things will improve. Grangers dead, eh? I'm enjoying the Death Eater plot, which keeps the suspense up.
Argh! Spend the day with an old love who's left you? How painful is that? Beautiful work creating all that emotion. I'm wondering if Krum has taken up with the Death Eaters.
