A/N: A/R with aspects of MWPP-era-ness! I hope you like it!

The 312th Edition by Rhetor

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: History, sadly, is not really written by the winners; it's written by the historians. Someday we will all be (at best) footnotes in someone's history book. How much of our passion and devotion will filter through to the distant reader of that book?

Brilliant! And you know what? I didn't even mind the scholar-academic style at all. This has to be the most original way to tell what happened at Hogwarts and with the ttrio after the books. I really have nothing to say that the other reviewers haven't said already...just, an amazing, creative piece of work. So I'm off to read your other stories!

Hi Kasey!
I really liked your portrayal of Narcissa, very well-rounded. I loved how you connected her with Lily and Harry. Also, giving her the credit she deserves...after all she did help in the defeat of Voldemort, and I liked how you showed that. Your style is good too ;), well written, well-rounded interesting story. Congrats, very good job!

Summary: Beasts, Beings, and Everything in Between, by Bindi Unai, has long been a cornerstone piece in American wizarding education. Ms. Unai, a teacher herself for many years, displays a gift for reaching students, even those whom have never met her. In her career, she was able to produce class after class of outstanding students, her textbook can more than be trusted in helping to educate young minds.

Ms. Unai has often said that is her wish that this book will serve as type of legacy to all she has offered to the world of academia. And with the wealth of information, as well as entertaining anecdotes, this book as more than accomplished this goal.

Wow! This is very well-thought and very well planned. I really like Bindi, I imagine her as this excentric old lady, a bit like an adventurous Dumbledore. Her life seems like quite a ride. Good job!

...now I'll go on reading :D

Author's Response: I'm glad you like the textbook, and Bindi as well. Did you read the About the Author where Lockhart met her? I'm eventually hoping to write more textbooks from my books, my next one being a book on Quodpot.

I had actually reviewed this chapter yesterday...but my session expired or something :(

When I started reading foreword part II I actually thought it might've been Lockhart! But then I thought: 'Naaaah...' Anyways it was brilliant! I wondered why Bindi seemed to be so distant towards him and then you reveiled it was Lockhart and it made sense...Bindi probably saw right through him, eh?
What a nice twist Olive!

Oh...did Bindi really asked Lockhart to come with her on her travellings?Or was it just part of Lockhart's lies?

Author's Response: Yes, as much as I dislike Lockhart as a person, I always thought he would be a fun person to write. Unfortunantly, with my favorite catagory being Post-Hogwarts and Lockhart's memory seemingly gone for good, it didn't seem like I would ever get that chance. I was glad that this foreword did give me the oppurtunity, though. And yes, Bindi actually did invite Lockhart to Mexico, which he wisely turned down. I think Bindi did indeed know he was a fraud and wanted to watch a Chupacabra suck out his internal organs through his eye socket!

Hahah, yeah that makes sense!
I'm glad you got to write Lockhart, he's very IC :)

Author's Response: Me too! I'm glad you like this story, and will read some of the others I have written.

Lovely! I really liked this!.Though, I'll admit, when I started reading I didn't thought I would like it as much as I did.

The last scene, the one from Rosalie's point of view was the one that captivated me the most, the one that makes me want to know what's going to happen next.

I also really liked Neve and Merle, and their (sub?)plot...I think it's very believable, especially Neve's shyness and how she admires Lily and Rosalie. You don't see many OC doing that, so kudos!
Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it more than you thought you would, that means I'm doing something right. And it's nice to hear you like Neve and Merle - an author always loves to hear that her OC's are believable.

Hahahah...witches robes, that was brilliant!

I really liked this. Even though I don't usually read Draco/anyone fics I thought this first chapter was very good it impressed me how well written it was: descriptive but not overly so, and very quick and easy to follow...very JK Rowling-style!.

I don't know much about Astoria and I already sympathise with her. Even from the little infor we get here we can see she's a well-rounded character. And congrats on keeping Draco in character, it always was a hard thing to do for me, and I think you characterised him wonderfully.

I'll definitely keep reading, in fact, i can't wait for chapter two!
*huggles*
Mila.

PS: Alyssa is my beta too! The MNFF world is small!

Author's Response: Wow! That means so much! I can't believe you compared my style to JKR's! *huggles back* I can't wait to update chapter 2 either! It's currently with Alyssa, and it'll be up soon. She's your beta too? Cool. :D Astoria will be treated like an OC here as no one really knows much about her anyway. So I have lots of opportunities to make her character shine. I love Draco when he's in character! ;P Thanks for your amazing review! ~Rish~
