So it's information about me that you're looking for? Well I've been writing for more years than I can remember (gosh that makes me feel old, I'm really not!) and roleplaying for almost as long (that's written roleplaying, fancy graphics confuse me, alas). My first original HP creation was Dowlin Wembricken, something of an old detective wizard, so Wembricken I am. :)

This is beautiful, Mudblood. You truly have a talent for capturing the reality and the emotions of characters, especially Harry, who has experienced a pain beyond that which many of us can understand. The depth and truth of this simple fic is powerful. Thank you.

Wow, very powerful story. I like the psychological side of the story, May's opposition to the voice at first and eventually that giving in after the stress of it all, even supporting the voice towards the very end. It's not a thriller, but it has that same suspenseful style that draws in an audience, if only because it plays with one's mind. I also like the connection between the past and the present, with Malfoy/Borgin and Quentin/Burke; it was a perfect way of laying out the ring's history. All in all, very well done. I was hooked to the end.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I\'m so glad you enjoyed it. I\'m glad the past/present division came across well - I was worried it might be a little confusing at first, but it obviously wasn\'t so that\'s a relief! Thanks for your review!

I've just started reading and I must say - I like very much! :) I've only read the prologue and first chapter so far, but the mood you create and your perfect portrayal of eleven-year-olds is very good! So interesting to get this oppressed, Muggle point of view. It puts me in mind of Children of Men and V for Vendetta. I shall keep reading and am excited that I still have 58 chapters ahead of me!

Author's Response: Ahhh, you just named my two favorite movies! I am very honored to be included in their company!

Thanks for the review!

Brothers by spike312

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The true tale of Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald.

Excellent story so far, spike312! I especially like your portrayal of Aberforth, it's spot on with how I imagined him. Your other characters are very good too, especially with little windows onto characters like when Gellert is abruptly woken up. It makes them much more believable, that even the great future Grindelwald can say 'mfgh?' like the rest of us! :) I look forward to the rest of the story!
