8/24/06 - Episode 8 has been submitted - thank God for sick days! Also, you may or may not have noticed that I've downgraded the rating from Professors to 6th-7th Years. I just didn't see this story going in that dirty of a direction. Although... what would a soap opera be without a little shagging? :)
11/26/06 - Wow so I guess it's been a while since my last update, huh? Rest assured, Episode 9's coming along quite nicely. The Unseemly Proposal by sparx

Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. THEY ALMOST KISSED!!!!! I was soooooo hoping they would :( but I'm sure it's coming...! And when it does, I know it will be awesome – you’re such a clever writer.
I loved the end of this chapter after they met Victor. He was so sweet. And Draco was jealous!!! I also loved that Draco thought he was so cool for wearing jeans. Imagine how he’ll react when he finds out they’re a muggle fashion!

Haha... *blush* I'm really not that good. It's because I have such wonderful readers, like you! Viktor seems to be an unexpected favorite. Good to hear that you like him too. Oh yes, Draco was definitely feeling some jealousy! I just had to have him wear those jeans. I thought why not make it seem like he thought he was so cool for wearing them. Date: 01/23/06 Title: Chapter 27: Chapter 27- The Aftereffects of Alcohol
This is one of my favorite fan fics. I love the chemistry you have created between Draco and Hermione. There is this strong sexual tension aided by the fact that they loathe each other (or at least are trying to convince themselves so). In my opinion, you write a very canon Draco and Hermione. Most D/Hr fics jump too quickly into a change of heart. This one takes it time... making it all the more exciting. Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to your next update.

And keeping a very canon Draco and Hermione is one of the main aims of this story, so that it gives me time to play around with the characters as well as make the readers anticipate what’s going to happen next! I won't pretend that I wasn't hoping they would somehow end up together, but I suppose that it just wasn't meant to be. Iris was his true love after all. But I was really hoping that Hermione would save him.... Maybe you could write a spin off story about what happens to Hermione next. She deserves happiness after all these years! Great fic! It has captivated me for the past several months now and I am sad to see it end. I hope you continue to write more excellent stories.
