Ever since I picked up Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, I've felt drawn to the spectacular world of Harry Potter. Fanfiction was a perfect way for me to explore that world even more -- and to this day it's been a source of relief and happiness for me to be able to write. Reviews are always apprieciated, especially constructive ones.

Well, I've been working on updating. I'm sorry it hasn't really been going anywhere. I just updated 'Lupine' but it got rejected...um. I think they said it was because I still have a few errors with my dialogue and such. Eh. I'm thinking of getting a new beta. =[

I enjoyed this story a lot -- I thought it was very well-written and extremely desciptive. I also loved the suspense you included. It's a great start, being your first-ever fanfic! Amazing job.
One thing -- I don't think that 'protego' blocks the killing curse. In fact, I think the killing curse may be unblockable. Maybe this is just all in my mind, but I'm almost sure that 'Avada Kedavra' can't be blocked. Besides for that, it was brilliant! Keep up the great work -- I'm looking foward to reading more of your stories soon.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review! I laughed at the part about Protego--I was desperate for any spell I could use...but seeing as Harry has used simplistic spells to his favor in the past I thought maybe it could work...ah well, thanks again so much for your review!
