I didn't start out a Harry Potter fan. I knew that there were tons of people out there who had been following the series since the start. Many of my friends and even my family had been drawn into the Potterverse. I remained stagnant in my position until the release of the second movie in 2002 when i was dragged into the theater by a group of girl scouts.

Although i thought the movie was pretty good i still didn't become a true fan until the release of Order of the Phoenix. A friend of mine asked me to go with her to the midnight release party at Barnes and Nobles. After that night i felt guilty that i had gone to the shindig but had no idea what the big deal was.

The next morning my family left to go on our summer vacation and i brought all five books along with me (even if they belonged to my sister). Over our five day vacation i read all of the books, barely noticing that we were even on the road.

I truly became a fan the summer of the release of the Half Blood Prince. I bought the book for my sister for her birthday but i wasn't able to read it for myself. I ended up buying my first Harry Potter book and reading it as fast as i possibly could. Of course i hadn't read any of the other books since OotP had been released so i re-read every one of them. Between that July and the release of DH I have read each book seven times. And since the release of DH i've read it six times, three times each for the British and American versions.

By writing fan fiction on mugglenet i felt as if i had a chance to curb my obsession with the characters and the story. Although i soon became entranced by what other people had to write and what place my own writing had in this world. Through writing for this site i've found out how much i really enjoy writing. Another plus was that people out in the internet world were reading something that i had put time and effort in.

I would like to thank everyone who took the time to read this and my stories, it gives me hope that someday i might have something on the shelf in a major bookstore. So enjoy what i've written and if you want to know about my life outside the Potterverse visit my livejournal.

Events Foretold by deeh

Rated:
Summary: One-shot: A thousand years into the future and still the story of their love lives on. The mere fairytale of a love that had been found and renowned throughout the ages between a couple that defied all reason. But is it true?

Not Going to Happen, Chica by Eilime

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

One shot fanfiction

This
fanfiction
is the traditional
Draco/Hermione romance
story. All the basics (Head Boy
and Girl, shared common rooms, suddenly
and quite unexpectedly they're highly attracted to
each other etc. etc.), but how likely is this stuff anyway?
Realistic? Each their own mind. But read the fic
and tell me if you too want to see
Draco/Hermione fanfics with
more to the plot than
the basics.

Everyone is slightly - well, maybe very - OOC in this fic. You have been warned ;)

1st story in a series of Hermione/Draco one-shots (Check out my author page for more information)

That was excellent! I love how you took lame plot lines that happen between the two characters and put them all in this one story. I know of some authors who should read this and think about their own stories.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I tried to get as many clichés into one story. There are probably loads of other scenarios I've forgotten, though... Thanks for the kind review!

I really liked this story. The twist at the end was perfectly shocking.

Author's Response: Thanks!! I'm really glad you liked it, I felt quite guilty for doing that though - but I'm glad it worked! Thanks for reviewing!!
