I have indefinetely retired from Mugglenet and fanfiction, but sincerely thank all those you read and reviewed my stories.
You know, it's scary. I had my Ipod in shuffle, and in the last two paragraphs of your chapter, the song Barbie Girl came on. I cracked up when I heard it on!
I loved reading this chappie! I had a really crappy day today, and it was nice to read some Harry/Ginny fluff. (But since it's part of this story, it's special fluff.)
I think I'd like to see a bit of angst! *stands in the midst of mixed boos and cheers* Maybe not fatal angsty, or caps lock angsty, but the fluff will begin to get sickening.
Don't worry about the Eiffle Tower, at least Harry didn't propose to her there. *snicker* That would have been untterly cliche. A good idea maybe would have been for Ginny to propose, since the girl usually doesn't.
Author's Response: lol...thats great! and im glad you liked this chapter and it was able to make your day better....
I was so excited when I saw you updated! All of a sudden updates are coming out of no where from you!
Oh, they're together! I need to scream, but my mother wouldn't like it, so just pretend. Finally. But truthfully, I'm glad they didn't get together in chapter one, because then it would have been like every other H/G story out there.
Is it the end? Will there be an epilogue?
Author's Response: well once i was out of school for summer i started having plenty of time to write....in fact i just updated Just Married....Kinda and Reality is Subjective so everyone keep an eye out for those.... and that is the exact reason it took me so long to get them together, because i wanted to write a different kind of H/G and i think it worked.....and no this is not the end...there will be an epilouge eventually (its already written and i LOVE it) but it wont be time for that for a while yet....there is still plenty of story to tell...
This was a very well-written angsty fic. Not one that I like to call 'posers.' Many authors attempt at writing angst fics adn fail miserably, but this one was un-believable. I take it the student was harry? Since when does Draco have a scar on his forehead though? (Or was that just an added thing to help with the twist?) I loved the twist at the end, I was so sure (as i'm sure everyone else was too) that it was Harry.
Author's Response: I'm so glad that you appreciated it. Yes, the 'student' was Harry, and Draco had a scar (yes, it was added for convenience) from being tortured by LV when he was younger. In my head I saw it that either Lucius and/or Narcissa wasn't doing exactly what the Dark Lord wanted, so he tortured Draco in order to force his point. Unbelievable? I'll take it as a compliment. Thanks. :-)
There is something about this story that just pulls me toward it... I love it. I was so happy when Ron laughed, I knew something was going to make me happy. When Ron said they had gotten a divorce I gave a really loud sqeaul and smiled real big. So happy!
I loved the scene with Hermione and Ron. I thought that it was absoltely hilarious. I loved the mental picture of Ron running out of the library screaming.
Hurah!!!!!!!!!! Ron and Hermione are together. If only there really was something to make Ron less thick. I love the idea of him showing Hermione the sketchbook. Excellent!
I love what the quill does, something that can see into peoples mind and spill their secrets...I think I can put it to the same use that Ginny did. Know where i can get one?
I love that last little sentiment between Harry and Ginny. It's got a lot of feeling to it. PS- Love Hermione's new nickname!
I love the whole bad-guy gone good. Can't wait to see what happens next!
It's finally about time. i think Malfoy derves some respect too now, because he finally let go of his silly childhood grudge. I like how you make it believable that Malfoy finally respected him and not just right out of he blue.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for appreciating the time I took to \'slowly\' introduce Malfoy back into the real world from the land of gitdom. I really appreciate it!
Ahhhhh evil cliffie! (Well sort of, the plan or whatever they have to tell Harry)
Off to the next chapter!
Author's Response: my cliffies aren't evil..... they're just "pleasantness-challenged"
Well, I would say Boo Malfoy, for winning, but he seems to be getting nicer(in your story not JKR's) so I will refrain from any extremely mean comments. When is more coming about the profecy that Harry made?
Author's Response: hehehe-- Draco is a very complex character, that's why he's so fun to play with! Harry's Prophecy? Um..... well, let's just say that it IS cleared up, but not until the bitter end. Did I say bitter? I just meant 'end'.
I like how you put the conflict with Minerva and Dumbledore in it, I thought it was a nice touch, though, I'm justa bit confused...Hermione and Ron didn't marry, right? It was only Harry and Ginny?
Author's Response: Lol! Nope... Just Harry and Ginny. Ron and Herm were their witnesses.
*10*
I thought the howler's were extremely funny. I especially liked Fred and George's though it was clear that they were kidding whent they left laughing.
Regarding Percy, I am inclined to think that he is a...GREAT STUPID GIT. I am unsure as whether he is a Death Eater or not. (Altough I am sure you are not)
I am also very interested as to what was with the cards that the girls had before they took a portkey to The Burrow.
Author's Response: I agree- Percy IS a great stupid git. I'm glad to say though that Chris Rankin (the actor that portrays the git) has officially been scripted to be in OOtP!!! He was contracted for 4 movies, and since he wasn't in GoF, he''ll show up again in OOtp! How they're going to work that, I don't know- but i'll be there to see it!
As for the cards.... you already answered your own question. :-) I'll let you figure it out.
I positvely loved Hermione and Ron's argument about snogging the ferret. I was laughing so hard. I'm so happy for Ron with a the moeny he never had, he was so happy he's getting the letter framed.
Author's Response: HAHA! I adore Ron- he\'s so... valiant. He deserves the money, I\'m glad I could give it to him!
I love this story! Probobly one of my favorites on the whole site, if not my favorite. 10/10 no doubt about it!
The Ginny screaming part was confusing but none the less, good once I read it over. I can't wait to see who the betrayer is!
Author's Response: Hmmm...Ginny was attempting to communicate with Gaia and Voltara...when that didn't work (because they didn't answer her summons) she became increasingly angry! Her logic maybe slightly messed up at this point (Ginny's) and she is being ruled by her emotions. As for who the betrayer is...*lips are sealed shut*
Hagrid has returned! Harry and Dean fight...yah! Go Harry! *Does victoriuos dance for Harry*
Author's Response: You kind of have to depend on Dean to do stupid things that will make Ginny question being with him...and he's coming though for us in this chappie! Hagrid is back...a while...
The story is really good... but when are we going to get some Harry/Ginny romance... I can't wait!
Author's Response: You're a new reviewer! Wooo hooo everybody dance! ok ok I'm going to act civilized again! So when will we see something directly romance related between Harry and Ginny? EVERYBODY PAY ATTENTION the answer to your question is CHAPTER 26 Trust me...it will be good!
This chapter was slightly confusing. When did Harry hex Lupin? Why does everyone hate everyone? I also think it was very OCC for Harry and Ginny to behave the way the did... that is, to separate themselves from the order and accuse the people that are their family. And finally... Why and when did Lupin leave? Besides all that...I absolutely love this chapter so i give it an 8. (Sorry for the not high rating but all of the above lowered the score)
Author's Response: Hmmm, are Tonks and Lupin their family? Perhaps Harry and Ginny feel that they are, but the fact remains that they really are not. Harry hexed Lupin because he was enraged that Lupin would dare to put Ginny in a dangerous situation. You have to see that Ginny's safety and security are Harry's priority. If Harry had to choose between Ginny or anyone else, his choice is always Ginny! He protects her even if he must turn on Lupin his trusted friend. It does not seem so terribly out of character to me. Remember that James protected his family by going into hidding because he believed one of his bestfriends (Lupin or Sirius) was a traitor to the Order. In my story, James was more inclined to believe that it was Lupin rather than Sirius...though it proved to be Pettigrew of all people! Notice that James suspected Lupin of wrongdoing and acted...similarly, Harry was certain that Lupin's actions and perhaps he overreacted. The issue I wanted to point out is Harry is reacting much as James had done, with a protective instinct. People, he does not have a crush on Ginny...he is not in "like" with Ginny...he is in love with her. It took a long time for him to get to this point...but here we are. He has shown to everyone in the Order, without a shadow of a doubt, how he feels for her and that he is willing to turn on all of them if they are trying to harm her! Again, his number one priority? Ginny!
