After roughly two years since I last put my fingers to the keyboard to type a new story - I'm finally back.

My new fic is a genfic entitled: Conversations With Dead People. It follows Severus Snape pretty much through DH, with Lily flashbacks. I'm excited about it.

To fans of my previous writings, I do hope you haven't all lost so much faith in me that you are now boycotting my work! To all others... no seriously... I do update. Regularly. I do. And I am never, ever gone for years at a time. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

Also, I have changed my site domain - please see above for the new address. It will be used for news on updates etc.

To Sever the Lining from a Cloud by Textualsphinx

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: This tale of the teacher whom everyone loathes,
Accounts for his anger and elegant clothes.
It dripped through my mind when, too scantily cloaked,
I got caught in a rainstorm and throughly soaked.

WARNING: Despite the glints of humour, you will need a handkerchief.

It was so beautiful, I am in absolute awe of your amazing skill as a writer. That was one of the best stories I have ever read, and I'm not just talking about fanfics. I now look upon my own work with shame. You are fantastic, thank you for such a wonderful experience.

A Beacon of Hope by MoonyPadfootProngs

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin has lost all hope ever since the death of Sirius. He decides to take a walk to one of the places so important to his past and discovers a familiar face. With the help of this person, Remus will find that Sirius hasn't truly left him. (A/N: All of the characters and settings in this story belong to JK Rowling. nice story- but what do you mean by saying that remus never produced a patronus before?!!!he taught harry the charm-he'd have to have some expertise in it to be able to teach it!we're told in the third book that he produced a patronus on the train to get rid of the dementor on the train.......remember?

Author's Response: I'm aware that he did produce one, but if you will remember, it was never a true patronus(ones that take animal forms) and even if it was, Rowling was never specific as to what that animal was.

The Things Worth Dying For by painterchica

Croaker by The Savant

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A day in the life of Edmund Croaker, Unspeakable extraordinaire!
Reviewer: Zetera Signed
Date: 03/02/05 Title: Chapter 1: one-shot

That was great, and really well thought out - I enjoyed it immensely. BUT - didn't we see Croaker in 1994 in GoF at the World Cup? Or was that his son? Also, the Prophecy was made the year before Harry's birth, so 1979, not 1980. Sorry to nitpick, it's what I do. Very, very, very good fic though.

Author's Response: All plot holes can be explained thusly: It's magic. Seriously, though, I was too lazy to pick up th humongous green book with my twelve-year-old girl arm strength, so you can say I had a bit of a lack of research. Rest assured all other references to canon will be candid and accurate.

Magorian by The Savant

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Lowbrow. High-concept. Medium rare. Magorian's back, and he's here to stay! A/N: All right, who stole all my exclamation points!?
Reviewer: Zetera Signed
Date: 02/25/05 Title: Chapter 1: Chicken Feast

Ha ha ha - that was great! I must read more when I get the time, but time is precious....plus it doesn't belong to me, as was brought to my attention a few days ago. Anyway, great fic, and thanks for the reviews!

Author's Response: When time isn't going your way, always remember this calming mantra: We're all going to die eventually, so what's the point?

OMG that was soo hilarious! I'm laughing as I type this! There were too many funny bits to mention - Dumbledore's medication, "coochie coo" , an ex-dark lord running around their house, "your plan sucks".....it was all brilliant - well done! P.S: Thanks for the review!

Thank the Lord, a poet who has heard of rhythm! Very nice read.

Author's Response: :) It's nice to know that poets do exist beyond myself.

Never Been Kissed by emaleth

Rated:
Summary: Hermione decides to stop being such an old fuddy-duddy! Love ensues!

The Harry Potter Code by dink

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I've spent many hours trying to crack the code that JKR cunningly hid throughout the Harry Potter series, concentrating mostly on The Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix. After weeks of painstaking research, I feel that I'm finally able to reveal the truth of what lies between certain selected sentences from each of these books.

Certain characters' personalities have been utterly transformed by the code-breaking process. Read at your peril ...

OMG that was hilarious, esp the bit about Voldies contacts in the catering industry. " This really is the end." Brilliant.

oooh this just keeps getting better. Dumbledore's the bush and Snape's the bat, right? Well obviously. Off to read the next chapter!

Date: 01/06/05 Title: Chapter 11: The End of the End

wow that was brilliant! Just the right amount of randomness so it still made sense. Excellent, I loved it. " Red paint " was brilliant.

Author's Response: Thank you, Zetera. :-) I used the 'red paint' idea because I'd been promising for ages on CoSForums that the ending of the story was going to be really nasty -- and then I found myself getting a bit squeamish. The only solution was gallons of red paint...

Sixth Year by Terri

As as Irish reader, with friends in Britain, I am shocked and insulted that you would choose to use the difficulties between Britain and the Republic as an obvious scapegoat for acts such as those described in your story.

Author's Response: I am sorry - in the 1990 when the HP story is set,the UK suffered from acts of domestic terrorism. I did not chose any side, as I am an Irish-American. I was just trying to pull from factual history. Terri
