RE: CHAPTER UPDATES.... My apologies to anyone who has been waiting for me to update my stories this past month, but I've had very little time since the holidays to write. My chapters may be sporadic at best until May due to the mounting piles of work on my desk. Thanks for reading and I'll do my best to write more soon.

I agree with your A/N. ;) Really liked this chapter but argggghhhhh! cliffhanger! The floo network position at the Ministry tied in nicely and it becomes increasingly evident how well you planned your plotline. 10
Author's Response: Sorry about the cliffhanger: the chapter turned out to be 3000 words long, so I thought it would be best to split it in 2. The second part was today's (Sunday's) chapter, and it's up now. I couldn't possibly keep Nicodemus away from the floo network -- it was the only paid job he was ever going to have! ;)

Ahhh the things a man will do after a bit of nosh. I like the addition of the reindeer transfigurement and the subtleness of this story. Not to mention, Nicodemus is a loveable guy.

Author's Response: It does, doesn't it? But I wrote most of this story last year, and conceived the one-chapter-each-day plan a couple of months ago -- inspired by Advent calendars generally, rather than JKR's specifically. :D

I'm really enjoying your story - more than any other Ginny fics Ive read as a matter of fact. Ginny is one of my fav characters so its hard for me to read other people's takes on her. You see through Ginny's eyes in a way that really captures her spirit and her fears. Easily give this story a 10. Cheers!

Its going great! I especially liked the excerpt at the start of her being possessed by Tom Riddle - its a great POV. The only line that bothered me in the least, or that felt a little OOC, was Harry saying "'Twas nothing.'" I think you could have managed that even with a shrug from him, or an 'it was nothing...' 'Twas' just sounds very dated, but maybe that was me. Everything else was right on the mark. 10! ~_~
I think the pace is going perfect - no need to rush. Good things come to those who wait... and without a solid backstory all you have is fluff. Great writing! Cheers! Another great chapter. ~_~
