Reason for writing:
I started writing fan fics because I'm a diehard Ron/Hermione fan who is sick of reading truly clever stories that are ruined by speling mistaiks and grammatical: errors.

I'm generally not a 'reviewer,' but this story deserves its kudos. The perfect combination of hilarity and sweetness makes this one a hit.

"Mum, Dad, It's Me... Harry." by Mudblood428

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione make a trip to Godric's Hollow to visit the Potters' graves. There, Harry speaks to his parents for the first time, and in so doing, discovers that the dead are never truly lost. (One-shot. Bring your kleenex.)

It was a great piece - as either/both a companion and/or a stand-alone. The trio's moment at the end was my favorite - I've always wondered if a realized relationship between R/Hr would affect the dynamic of the group's friendship, but you've more than quelled my fears.

A Fairy Tale by Fairy-Light by Mudblood428

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: There's no better Christmas gift than a first kiss. A special Ron/Hermione Christmas one-shot to keep you warm - no misteltoe required. Special Christmas Update 12/25/05: "Ron's Secret" - a special illustration by yours truly!

Terrific. The story has a clean style and melt-your-heart quality. The art is great, too! 10/10.

You Crush Me by Ravensgryff

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: My first attempt at a songfic. On the eve of a frightful mission, Ron can't sleep. While he takes some comfort in knowing that Hermione is nearby, he also dwells on a missed opportunity. Rated PG-13 for some violence in later chapters.

Excellent. Lots of emotion, and in all the right places. And I like that the kiss doesn't finish off the story.. it means there's more to come (I hope)!

Ever the Same by expecto_patronum_this

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A songfic that carries you through the years of Hermione and Ron, letting you watch them grow together. Be warned: 'tis fluff to the max.

Stories are always so much more enjoyable when the author knows how to write properly. You are certainly not an exception.

Author's Response: I wasn't sure if this was a compliment or not, just because of the way it's worded - but if it is, thank you. And if it isn't, I'm sorry you didn't like it.

Definitely, definitely a compliment. It was a 10/10 the first time... and this time, too - just to make it clear.

Author's Response: I think I just turned completely red. Thank you so much for this positive feedback - it makes me feel really positive about doing my other fan fictions! Also, thanks for making it clear what you were thinking, at first I thought you were saying it sucked and I was all like "awwww!" *sniffle* Anyways, you ROCK!

The Ribbon by Monster Book of Monsters

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This could have actually taken place within the story - 5th and 6th year. A sweet story about Hermione, Ron, and a special ribbon.

Date: 03/11/06 Title: Chapter 1: One Shot

I thought it was great. I like how you were able to make it such a touching story without having it end in a kiss or a snog (although, as a loyal R/H shipper, I definitely am not opposed to a little snogging!). It showed that there's more to their relationship than that. 10/10.

Author's Response: Yeah... I'm an R/H shipper myself and although I would have loved to have put some action in there, 1) I don't know how good I would be at actually writing it out, and 2) I was trying to make it actually fit within the story... so if they had done some serious making out, they would be dating by book 7. Although, I know Ginny should have been playing with the guys instead of watching - I took liberties with that bit!

As the Ink Dries by SimplyMe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Hermione died in the Horcruxes crusade. One year later, Voldemort was finally destroyed and Ron returned home, exhausted. His room was exactly the same as he left it. But awaiting him on his desk was a small pile of letters with a short note on top.

Mr. Weasley, we found those letters addressed to you in Hermione’s belongings. It was only fair they were returned to you. Signed, Mr. and Mrs. Granger.

I was afraid to read the story because I generally prefer fictions in which all the members of the trio are, well, living. But kudos to you - the story was gripping and suspenseful as well as sentimental without being trite or corny. I especially liked the bit about the stone owl. It had me thinking, "Is this owl bewitched to bring harm to any mudbloods who enter the chamber?!" Hmmm.... (10/10)

Author's Response: Maybe you'll hear more about that owl in later chapters... Who knows? Well, I do but I don't at the same time. It falls into the sixth chapter I'll maybe add someqhere in the middle. My beta and I will take that decision soon. Thanks a lot for your review!
