I've deleted my old (and very lame) profile, and I've been staring at this blank space for a while wondering what I should write...
:About Me::
Well, I got into the Harry Potter series after Chamber of Secrets came out, and I've loved it ever since -- except for the movies; I've only liked the first two movies. I've also recently fallen in love with Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, a vampire romance book with the god-like Edward Cullen. ::drool::
I absolutely love WizardRock. My favourite WRock bands are The Remus Lupins, The Whomping Willows, Harry and the Potters, Ministry of Magic, Talons and Tea Leaves, Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls, The Weasel King, and The Moaning Myrtles, just to name a few! My favourite muggle bands would definitely have to be Saving Jane, because their lyrics are completely empowering and the beats are ridiculously awesome, and James Blunt.
Apart from the HP series and Twilight, I'm currently reading The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie when it comes out. I also loved Impulse by Ellen Hopkins, which was the tale of three teens who had all attempted suicide. It's a really touching story. A Great and Terrible Beauty (Libba Bray) is also really fantastic, as well as The Triskelia Trilogy (Carrie Mac), and I can't wait for the third books in both trilogies.
My Harry Potter friends are the world to me; I don't know how I'd survive without them::huggles:: I also love MuggleCast and PotterCast, two amazing Harry Potter podcasts! Then, for all you WRock fans, check out the Podcast of Awesome, which is a podcast completely devoted to WizardRock. It's pretty much one of the greatest things ever.
Oh, yeah: I'm a high school junior from Canada, and I also play the flute and piano. I've completed my grade 8 piano exam, and I'm currently working on learning My Heart Will Go On. If you don't know what movie that comes from, you need to get out more. (And coming from me, the Queen of Antisocial, that is definitely saying something.)
Oh, my, god. I still can't believe Sirius told Snape where to find Remus. Even if Jo already told us that in book...actually, to be honest, I can't remember what book it was in right now. And Lily! I can't believe she was drinking, AND out past curfew, too. Just...wow. That was an amazing chapter. I wonder where Snape went? And what James will do with Lily. Poor girl...I can't wait to find out!
Author's Response: Hehehe, hey there! Ooh, I'm flattered that you really enjoyed the chapter. It was amazing fun to write Lily's little drunk scene. All questions will be answered in the near future, lol! Thanks!
Oh my god. I FINALLY found this stupid button. I've been looking everywhere...but that's besides the point. I loved this story. It's so cute. I definitely can't wait for the sequel! Awesome. Niamara
Oh, very interesting, very interesting. Must be awkward, mind you. Liking a student?
I love it. Can't wait 'til you update!
Oohh, this was so sad! I didn't quite get the last part, though. "I'm too bad to be loved by you"? Maybe it's just too early, and later I'll think of it and think I was stupid not to get it... Anywho, I thought you described James' frustration in writing Lily well. How it had to be perfect for her, but nothing was ever perfect enough...and then he'd just give up and think about her eyes. Sad and adorable at the same time. Too many emotions for 9.30 in the morning! Niamara
That was so cute! I liked the Lily/James part best, them being my favourite 'ship and all... But the Harry/Ginny part was irresistably cute! *squee*
I thought Hermione was a bit OOC, 'cause I don't think she would have taken initiative to snog Ron, but Ron is kind of awkward (but in the totally adorable way
Author's Response: thanks, niamara!
i agree, hermione shocked me too when she did that!
but she is seventeen after all, and had spent that year watching ron snogging lav-lav. let\'s append it to pent up anger and love both. she can\'t kill him. so she kissed him insread.
did i make sense? *toink* me.
