I did get a chance to finish chapter 6 this weekend, and a good portion of chapter seven, which should make everyone a teensy bit happy... I hope. Don't throw rotten fruit, okay. Please?!?
I am going to see how the moderating process is going here, since it's been a long time since I've been posting on this site. If things get hectic, you can always try the story at WattPad, which might be posted faster. :)

Wow. I have to admit, I have tried not to think about that night. It seemed to sad to think about. To see it from Lily's POV was more heartbreaking than I thought it would be. What a wonderful beginning!
Author's Response: Thank you - yes, it is very sad, but I suppose it\'s the key event that propelled the plots of the entire series. I find it interesting to read other writers\' takes on what happened that night, so I decided to write my own version - I hope you like the second part!

I was not expecting it to be Lavender, by the way, but I love how you incorporated Won-won into the story. The pin was sheer genius, it's too bad that it didn't work. The end results would have been interesting.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for review of \"Welcome to the Light Side,\" Khrys! I\'m very happy with the reception I\'ve received at this site, and the support is greatly appreciated.
I\'ve always had a bit of a thing for Anthony Goldstein (this is the part where you can tell me how weird I am, as I think I touched on every single one of his canon references in Chapter 1 alone), and I\'m having a lot of fun working on the story. It\'s going much more easily than any fanfic I\'ve written in the past (obviously, or else this wouldn\'t be the first one to make it to the Internet!). I\'ve got the whole thing mapped out, and I\'m currently estimating around eighteen chapters plus epilogue.
I\'m submitting Chapter 2 this evening, so hopefully it\'ll be up online within the next couple of days or so. I don\'t expect updates to be *quite* this fast most of the time, but I can promise that this story won\'t be abandoned.

What a fabulous chapter. I love the back story. I think that putting it in flashback form, as you did so well, was the best way to do it! Hermione in teh bathtub was perfect, I could really feel her pain. Ron's ending thought was so sad. I sincerely hope that they take the time to talk soon!

This is another wonderful chapter. I like how you have incorporated different Muggle ideas into your story, drawing out the torturous meetings (No, that's not the right word... encounters, maybe) between Ron and Hermione. You chapter flows smoothly and the emotions feel completley genuine. I was shocked, for a moment, when Hermione broke her date. Then, I realized that it made perfect sense. They are coming together in just the right amount of time, making it completely believable. By the way, I have a small end table in my bedroom made out of my college textbooks. Go Hermione!
