AUTHOR UPDATE!!
8-10-07
Wow. It's been a while. But I'm still alive, and now that I've finally got the net in the apt., I read all those wonderful reviews that have been left for me since May and before!
I adore all of the HP world. It really makes me want to buckle down and keep writing on my real novel. As per usual, I will make sure that this site (after my live journal) is the first to know once I get a publishing deal. Because I would be so flattered if since you spent so many hours and gigabytes supporting me online if you'd spend fifteen or so of your hard earned dollars (and a few more of your hours!) to read my real 'no pen-name required' novel.
Feel free to keep up with me via live journal (user name bartender713), but I will warn you- I am a 23 year old graduate student. Contents of my personal life may very well be not suitable for children, so read at your disgression. If you want to know whether you're old enough to read about my personal life, well... if you have to ask, you're probably not :-)
See you on the book shelf!!

I have to say that when they walked in the restaurant- I absolutely wanted to KILL you. I was like "oh, this is the most HORRIBLE thing ever! How COULD he?!?!" BUt then- you went and made it perfect. I love how he just 'knew' that his original idea had been wrong, and he righted it. Excellent job- I haven't ever had a fanfic make me so upset, angry, and then blissfully content all in one go. Nice job.
I can't wait to see how Harry springs the P-bomb on Ginny. My boyfriend threatens me with "surprise" as well, and so I'm quite curious as to how boys think about these things. Exquisite story, and I can't wait to read more! Definately going in my favorites!
awwww. I hope your muse kicks you in the bum more often. Those were super sweet, and not in the "painful" way. I hope you'll keep writing- maybe your muse will inspire you to write "firsts" of other characters, too. Happy Writing!
*first review dance!!* Yikes- I was thinking that he would go back when Lily said "I'll see you soon, sweetheart", and then the whole demon thing... ICK! IT's so scary. That ought to throw anyone off. And then the baby formula.... very slick. Reminding Harry that in order for the dreamcatcher to 'work', he must go back to being a baby.
Once again, I'm at a loss and have no idea where you'll take me next. I'm frustrated and loving it!
Author's Response: You like being frustrated? Maybe I should finish that mystery that I was writing and really confuse some people. Alas, my muse abandoned me on that fic. Nice job on catching the hints. Thanks for reviewing.
Very interesting... I'd like to hear more about what EXACTLY went on between DD and the Dream Catcher. Sounds like crucial information to me!
Author's Response: It may sound crucial, but it would be pretty drab and boring. If I do add it, it may delay my postings, but I will consider it. Thanks for reviewing.
Oh my gosh! I've been away from my favorites page for months because I've been finishing up my own story, and look what I get! About a dozen chapters for me to peruse at my leisure!!!
You are absolutely amazing, and I was SO upset when I finished "HArry and Remus" and there was nothing more... but now there IS. But I knew you would want a review before I read that one, so I'm leaving one, even though I'm sure you don't need me to tell you how AMAZING AND UNMATCHABLE this story is. I couldn't believe that Harry's 'dream' world could turn so... DARK. I was incredibly shocked- you had me cringing, gasping, and tearing up in ALL the right places! I hate when you can predict what is going to happen in a story, and I can honestly say that you- you WONDERFUL author, you- leave me guessing EVERY time!!!
WEll now-- I am off to read the next installment (which apparently is only up due to a glitch???). I left an extra long reveiw since I haven't posted in something like the last 10 chapters, so I hope this makes up for it... but if it doesn't, you let me know and I will gladly go back and re-read every chapter and leave a review on each!!
Author's Response: Thank you for the great review. I\'m glad you felt such a wide range of emotions and that I was able to surprise you. Don\'t worry about your absence. You can review the other chapters if you want, but it is not necesary.
Ooook. Apparantly I can't read it after all *damn damn damn*
But you can best believe that when I do- you'll have another glowing review waiting in your inbox from me.
I loved "The Punishment for Immaturity" and I REALLY love where you are taking Harry as a character. Every chapter I'm just so intrigued to see where you're eventually heading! It's such a complex plot so far and I can't wait for it to unfold!
1. So glad I finally got off my bum and started to read your fic!!! After all, it’s the least I could do since you’ve read mine. Ah, Ginny is writing letters… I have to say, I love that particular way to start their relationship- can’t imagine why….. J
Author's Response: Bartender713!!!! One of my favorite authors :-) I\'m glad to have you on board.
Letter writing is a lost romance. I though it would make a nice beginning.
Thanks for the review!
2. I knew he’d like it! I’m glad he wasn’t pissy with her- makes things so much easier!
Author's Response: Yes, I decided he needed an attitude adjustment after book 5.
3. Brilliant, as usual!
Author's Response: Thank you!!!
4. Oh, Remus. What would Harry do without you? I wish I had a Remus!
Author's Response: Remus is one of my favorite characters. I think everyone could use a Remus in their lives.
5. Hmmm… why is it that Albus is always so weird? I mean, he’s weird in every fic- always beating around the bush and leaving out key information… Hmmm.
Author's Response: Frustratingly cryptic, isn\'t he? You would think that after all this time he\'d just sit Harry down and tell him every last detail, but noooo - he has to be all mysterious. *Sigh*
6. Sigh… I purposely left the will out of my fic because I just didn’t think I could handle writing it. You are doing a spectacular job detailing Harry’s feelings about everything, and I applaud you!
Author's Response: I have to admit that it was not easy to write. I used a lot of my own feelings for Harry because I wanted him to experience that sense of loss after losing the only father figure he\'s ever known.
7. Quote of the chapter: “More than once Fred ended up stuck on the roof and once he landed in the toilet feet first. Wouldn’t have been too bad except Lee Jordan was on it at the time.” LMAO!
Author's Response: Yay! I LOVE when people tell me their favorite lines from the chapter. I dearly love F&G - I had to have a bit of fun with them.
8. Portable Tunnel—GENIUS! Unfortunately, I wasn’t that smart.
Author's Response: Thank you!! Wouldn\'t you just love one of those?
9. Ah, protection in a box. Too funny that Ron would have no idea!
Author's Response: I felt I had to be socially responsible and make sure our hero is protected in case anything happens. Poor Ron - will he ever catch up to the rest of the world?
What?! NO!!!!! It can't be happening- but then, it CAN. And totally would. It's exactly what Fudge would do, the incompetent f**khead.
Author's Response: Sadly, the writing was on the wall. Leave it to Fudge to make a fiasco of something!
Percy is such a git! And GO GINNY! I HATED the way Percy was acting, talking about Harry as if he wasn't even there! It was absolutely PERFECT! It's like when you see a play and you HATE the villian- you couldn't pay a better compliment to the actor. And so I HATED the way Percy acted-- and no higher compliment can I give you.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! That was exactly the response I wanted. I took it pesonally when he turned his back on his family, and so (unfortunately for him), I am taking it out on him in my story.
Wonder what will happen with your Malfoy?? And I also wonder what's taking Ron so long!!!! I'm dying of anticipation!
Author's Response: At this point I can honestly say that I am not sure what will become of Malfoy - although I think it\'s safe to say he won\'t have a sudden change of heart and come for Sunday afternoon tea in the Gryffindor common room. As for Ron, well, I\'m sure he\'ll figure it out...eventually.
