AUTHOR UPDATE!!

Wow. It's been a while. But I'm still alive, and now that I've finally got the net in the apt., I read all those wonderful reviews that have been left for me since May and before!
I adore all of the HP world. It really makes me want to buckle down and keep writing on my real novel. As per usual, I will make sure that this site (after my live journal) is the first to know once I get a publishing deal. Because I would be so flattered if since you spent so many hours and gigabytes supporting me online if you'd spend fifteen or so of your hard earned dollars (and a few more of your hours!) to read my real 'no pen-name required' novel.
Feel free to keep up with me via live journal (user name bartender713), but I will warn you- I am a 23 year old graduate student. Contents of my personal life may very well be not suitable for children, so read at your disgression. If you want to know whether you're old enough to read about my personal life, well... if you have to ask, you're probably not :-)

Harry Potter and the Reflection of Darkness by Czarina
Rated: Professors •Summary: It’s the summer after the battle at the Ministry of Magic and Harry has returned to Privet Drive, where he awaits the time when he can rejoin his friends. A certain redhead has begun to occupy his mind and awaken emotions he never knew he had. As he continues to mourn the loss of his godfather, Harry slowly begins to heal and may have discovered a way to communicate with Sirius. Can it be too good to be true? Takes place directly following OOTP. Primarily a H/G romance, with some R/Hr as well. Rated R for adult content in future chapters.

Whew! I was so worried about Hermione. I was afraid it was something along the lines of abuse- a lot of people like to do that to her character, I've noticed. I'm so glad it wasn't that, and I'm relieved she's ok.
Author's Response: Nope, no abuse - just the remnants of the battle. I thought it was important to remember what happened, and have something visual to bring it home. She knew how Harry would react and didn\'t want him to feel guilty about it.

I loved the box of personal items from Sirius. I also am waiting (and waiting!) to find out what happened to Sirius and his mirror. It was a really nice scene with Harry and Ginny in the living room- I'm glad he got it off his chest!

Oooh- I was so excited to see who the new DADA prof. would be and I'm so happy its' Kingsley!! I can't wait to see him in the movie next summer!
Author's Response: I really liked Kingsley and wanted to make him a more important part of the story. I hope they do him justice in the movie!

OOh... mirror, mirror, covered in blood. I've read in other stories about how the mirror was activated by blood, but no one ever explained it. I'm really hoping you will, because I'm sure it will be wonderfully fantactic! And as for the Ferret... what is UP with that kid??
Author's Response: Don\'t worry, the title of the story says it all. The mirror is an interesting object and will feature quite prominently. As for the Ferret, he\'s awfully cocky for someone whose father is about to go on trial, don\'t you think?

To my fans I would like to say that I am back to writing, and I have now updated many of the chapters! Some changes are just grammer edits, but there are many adds and changes to chapters. Some based on your reviews or small things I felt needed to be added. Please take a look at the changes and let me know what you think. I'm so glad I was able to read this! This is the only fic that's post HBP that I've let myself read, and I love it! I like how you've made Harry 'grow up' and take charge- I think it fits him quite well.
It's amazing to see that some of the people (HI LadySnuffles!) read both our stories. I didn't realize that there was such an older following on mn. I am very intrigued with where you're going... and I REALLY want Harry's potion (*coughcoughfelixfeliciouscoughcough*) to turn out all right!

I am Very Happy you like the story. I have noticed may of the reviews I get and places I review have the same people. I guess great minds think alike. Yes Harry is working on Felix Felicous. Too Sweet to Remember by Canadian Confessional
Rated: 3rd-5th Years •Summary: Meet James Potter, a clever, somewhat mischievous, popular student at Hogwarts. He takes every situation in stride and has everything under control, except one: Lily Evans, an amazingly beautiful and intelligent individual. I'm definately intrigued. I've never read a Lily/James fic before- I think it was because since there's so little information on them it seemed impossible that an author could make them "real", and yet stay consistent with JK's world.
