Make A Wish by Oomahey
Rated: 1st-2nd Years •Summary: Harry, Ron and Hermione are in Godric's Hollow prior to the start of the Horcrux hunt. The wedding of Fleur and Bill is over, but the images live on. It is Ginny's birthday, and Harry is reminiscing about the one he left behind. What will he do about it, especially when he finds out that it hasn't been all that great a day for her? This fic is Harry's POV of the story, For A Wish, written by YelloWitchGrl, with a little bit of Ron's POV. Read that first, if you can. But this can be read as a stand-alone.

very very good!! This is the fist fic i read in which harry proposed and to be honest, i doubt that any other will be as memorable or as significant. It was written perfectly. Especially the Proposal.. I could see it all happening in my mind. (i know it is good writing when i can see the movie acting out in my brain!) Bravo Bravo... Well done!!!

wow i really have no idea how to respond to this one in the least! Everything i can think of was covered in this chapter. From sorrow, to love, to brilliance, to humor. I t was absolutely all there. You have fassioned yourself one of the best fics i have read! the emotions run deep... and you arent even finished yet. I am thoroughly impressed. I look forward to reading even more. Keep up the phenomenal work!
Author's Response: Thanks - it\'s getting better with time, I think. I like to explore all the emotions these characters are dealing with - life is more than black and white, there are many, many shades of grey.

ok... this just turned into the best fic i have read on MNFF! wow i have no idea what to say... It is like a stephen king novel with all the different scenes and plot devices. THis is absolutely fantastic!!! Im glad to see that you took this as far as you did. I was concerned in the first few chapters that this was going to be too focused on the "professors" rating... if you know what i mean. But this truely brilliant. Im haveing so much fun reading this. Truely well done!!!!

I honestly think it\'s getting better because I have this great Beta who kicks my butt and makes me work hard instead of taking the easy route, gives me *incredible* ideas, plus, he loves the story so he wants it to be great, too. I re-read the first couple chapters and there\'s a lot I don\'t like, but the one that hasn\'t been posted yet is one of my favorites. I just hope I continue to impress, entertain and get better. great ending. it might have been a bit to brash for Ron right after getting over his years and years of pinning... but it def enhansed the ending, and of what Harry "missed." Great start.

im not sure what to think yet... i was quite alarmed by the rather intense reaction from Ron and Hermione... so quickly, but i think you justified it sufficently enough afterwards. I know this is rated Professors, but that just semed a bit much to me after their first kiss. Harry and Ginny were very cute!
Author's Response: Again, glad you enjoyed it. I already know you read to the end and liked the rest. It *was* a bit of an overreaction, but that\'s the thing - they *finally* figured out that they want to be together but now they have to work out the years of denial, too. It\'s not going to be perfect right off.
