arhh --- well of course i love longer chapters, but since your story is so good, i don't really care about the length. anyway, awesome chapter, medea was kinda scary, but i was hoping that Malfoy and his cronies got killed. also, has Bellatrix's mission got anything to do with the honeyduck explosion? i guess ill have to wait to find out.

it seems that a discussion is rising out on the question "who the hell is Medea?" so i thought i would pitch in. i admit i have no clue who she is except that the name is from greek mythology, so ill try to approach it systematically:
1. she's got black hair. who else has black hair? Harry? Tom Riddle? Sirius?
2. she's extremely pale. who else is entremely pale? Harry? Tom Riddle?
3.eyes: brown, and makes Harry feel weird.
4. no last name, and McGonagall hesistated a bit before reading her name.
5. she's 102%slytherin. the hat didn't even stop to consider, although she wasn't exactly impressed with the fact.
6. she's able to use wandless magic (my obsession): she "healed" the vending machine after mistreating it, which i would see as an sign of power.
7. gloves. beneath the gloves, it could be anything. deformed fingers? or pale, unnaturally long ones perhaps?
8. she says she's an orphan, but she claims that she hates her father, a sign that he's alive (i will kill h-). where is he, or more importantly, who is he?
9. she has this knack of unnerving people which i wish i possess too. what makes her so creepy/freaky/suspicious/weird/terrifying/ostracized/and Harry-Potter-attractive?
10. now comes the juicy bit. she is Parseltongue. well well. who, other than Tommy/Voldy, Harry, Slytherin holds's the noble gift of Parseltongue?
11. a minor point: she & Harry weren't impressed with Melodie Vérité (nor was i, beauty isn't everything^^). it may well be the fact that she's the only female without homosexual tendency, and Harry was too sexually inactive; it is also possible however, that the new DADA teacher has some kind of Veela-like charm which only Harry and Medea could resist.
OK that's it. After all this, i think i get the unspeakable clue of "who the hell is she?" and i will be mean like everyone else - which also means "I'm not telling!"
if anyone else is as clueless as i was, well... let's all just wait until our lovely&talented Demonica updates!

Amazing - Medea rules. I'm starting to hate Ron and Hermione now (and McGonagall), I don't see what's so bad and evil about Medea, but i guess that's because we're seeing it from Harry's view. she's a mystery girl who's kinda sweet and fragile and dark, who wouldn't go for her?

Later, I'm going to write one chapter in Ron's PoV (That's going to be an exciting chapter, you'll see) But that one will also clarify things a bit. Oh, and trust me, there are a lot of reasons why other people at the school wouldn't go for Medea.

yeah you've got my favorite phrase in: 'so it begins'! Anyway, i just wanted to ask, is this an altogether different story line to canon books? i personally prefer fanon fics. im asking because of the dream which is sort of foreboding!

ha! I found this! I really enjoy this story, i've just read it again today. I feel sorry for Harry, being kidnapped and abused. it's probably going to traumatize him for a long time. Personally I never saw Love as a power, I never understood how Harry could love people given his mistreated childhood. I see being able to love as a quality more than anything, but this doesn't affect my view on your fic, it's still bloody brilliant, one of the best i've read.
