I really like your story.
I love how you potray the sweet & innocent relationship between brothers. It's cute and heart melting how Sirius takes care of Regulus. And the abuse that Sirius endures is heartbreaking...I can totally see how he becomes confused about his heritage.

Author's Response: Thank you oh so very much! I got the name "Decimus" from my mother. When writing the second chapter, I asked my mom for an origninal name. She says, "Maximus Decimus Meridius" (from "Gladiator," ya know). When I heard Decimus I immediately fell in love with the name. Even my best friend said that it was a good name. Well, the next chapter you'll find out how Deci and Tabs met. I doubt it will answer all of your questions, but it will reveal why they don't like each other very much!

Well...I was captivated by it...I can tell you that much. I love this story. You're doing a good job. I love how you describe his dog feelings/emotions and him...and how he lost himself. I felt sad the way you describe him so sad and like he had given up....

Author's Response: My thought was that that name would be painful to him because it connects him with his old friends at a time when he had just lost all three of them. I thought that he would have adopted a new name like that at the time because it had better connotations. Glad you liked it, and thanks for being my first reviewer.

I love your story! I read all of BTDYKM in like two days...between work and play. I couldn't stop reading! It's so sad at the end. I was like "wtf?!" Sorry I didn't comment at all! BUT like I said I was too engrossed to even stop and review. I hope you update soon and continue this story! It is the best Hermione/Draco story I've read. I hope you have really good plans for this couple in the future. And that it ends happy this time around! lol.

It is a bit sad that they both end up dying in the end and Hermione becomes too dependent on Draco but alas, the point was made. =]

Been reading it from the start.
You know. This story is sweet, and it really shows what a parent is capable of doing for the apple of his eye. I like how you went ahead and explained the Lovegoods to us. There were a few ommitted words here and there, as well as a grammar mistake or two. Other than that, it was well-written.
