"It Unscrews The Other Way" by Pussycat123

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The line that probably best describes the legacy that the Weasley twins left behind after their Great Escape, during Umbridge’s brief rein at Hogwarts. Their legend lasted years afterwards ... but eventually, the only permanent physical reminder was the roped off corner of one corridor, containing a small part of swamp. The mystery of its origins is merely smiled at reminiscently by teachers, and the students can do nothing but spread rumours of how it came to be. When little Janey Weasley starts life at Hogwarts, the mystery is still unsolved. On a whim, and desperate for recognition, she writes home to her father, asking how it came to be. When Ron replies with the true story, a chain of events begins that might just be the making of the next true Hogwarts mischief legend ...

Omigod!!!! loved it! :-D
i especially loved that it's a girl...and i totally imagined her to have flaming red bushy hair! :-)

Author's Response: Oh, it was DEFINITELY time the girls of Hogwarts started having as much fun as the girls! I'm glad you liked it!

hey...i'm back to tell you that i just had the guts to read all the reviews of this fic! it was fun realizing how you kinda gave up on insisting that this is a one-shot and that will be it for Janey Weasley... :-P
and i felt something else, too...maybe i loved it a little extra bcoz this fic lets us bluntly ignore the fact that even if there really was a little Janey, she would never have an Uncle Fred around. i still can't believe how Jo cud stab on our hearts like that...*sigh*
P.S. yeah it wud be better if Ron was a bit more clueless...which he actually is.
P.S.2 i'd like it if u read my fic...i can't write as well and as much as u though!

Author's Response: Oh cod, for some reason your point about Uncle Fred almost brought a tear to my eye. Yeesh, hormonal much? On the point about Ron ... well, yeah, he should be more clueless. I have never been able to write the trio in the least bit convincingly (if you've read some of my fics, which I think you have, you'll notice that they very rarely turn up ... I just can't do it). As for your fic, I'd love to read it (although I'm currently using my brother's computer because my own BROKE and still won't be fixed, so I might not get round to it straight away. But I'll try to eventually).

Trouble With Exams – A Janey Weasley One-Shot by Pussycat123

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Sequel to “It Unscrews The Other Way”

Due to popular demand, our favourite imaginary Weasley is back, this time coming to the end of her first year at Hogwarts. She is now an established trouble-maker, but there is always that issue of grades vs. good times. With various relatives (well, her favourite uncles) telling her one thing, and other relatives (well, her mother) telling her another, anyone would be at a loss as what to do ...

when i read humor fics, i usually smile/grin silently...coz, of course, i don't want ppl to think i'm crazy! but while reading this one i snickered/cackled/laughed out loud more than once. especially loved the "it would clash with your hair" part...and when Janey writes, "Your last letter made me snort in an unladylike manner"...i did the same! as usual...great idea(writing a whole fic with just a bunch of letters)! :-D

Author's Response: Well, the letter format isn't entirely original, I won't claim all the credit for that. But I'm very pleased you enjoyed it and found it funny, because this is probably my least favourite of all the Janey fics ... so thanks!

wow! this time you got me grinning only 2 sentences into the story! awesome...can't say which part i loved the most...it seemed like i was inside a pensieve watching someone's memory of something that truly happened.

P.S. hang on! erm...does it mean that James likes Snivellus, but not Evans?? :-P

Author's Response: Technically it does mean that ... well done for getting in the spirit! I'm really glad you liked the story.

Keeping Time by electronicquillster

i think you are a very good writer. i loved the way you write. you have a talent of picturing things in a beautiful way. i also liked the story. there's just one little thing. well...two things actually. i felt that if it really happened, ron would choose something else. and the second thing is, the ending could be a bit different. anyways, people's thoughts differ, and that's what makes the world more interesting and beautiful. so...good job. :-D

Upon an August Evening by Phoenix5225

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I've been wondering what happened between these two professional acquaintances, maybe even two friends, when she found out who filled Dumbledore's position at Hogwarts.

Note: There are DH spoilers inside.
Reviewer: Ebony14 Signed

it is beautiful. i hope that says everything. (but i don't think that professor mcgonagall knew severus' secret)

Author's Response: No, I don\'t believe that she did either. I hope it didn\'t come across that she did in this, because when I wrote about him telling her everything, it was simply in relation to how Dumbledore wanted Severus to be the one to kill him. Thank you for your review.

Click! by Pussycat123

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Before Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts, he is shown a group photo of the original Order of the Phoenix, back when it was his parents fighting against Voldemort.

But a photo doesn’t show their lives, their personalities, their every day conversations ... or how much organising can be needed to take one single photograph when you have a room full of people – especially when four of whom liked to call themselves “Marauders” back in their school days ...

i really liked it...great idea.
the part where Sirius asks Gideon about Molly and her family and he says something about her kids in reply...i smiled to myself thinking how Sirius has no idea that Molly's youngest son will be his godson's best friend.. :-)
the description of all the people at the beginning did start to get a lit-tle boring, though.
but overall...i have to say...well captured! :-)

Author's Response: Well, fair enough. I was trying to capture all the different personalities and identities all talking at once and having a great time, even in the most serious of circumstances. Maybe it didn't entirely work, but I'm glad you liked the rest of it! Thanks very much!

i didn't like the plot at all(i'm a huge fan of R/Hr...so big surprise there!)...but the way you wrote it...i was totally into the story and when it reached the end...i was like 'woah! where's the rest? why isn't there more??'
great job as a writer.. *thumbs up*

When Worlds Collide by jenny b

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary:

Rose was a Weasley. She never gave Scorpius Malfoy a second glance. They were sworn enemies, even though they’d barely even spoken to each other. But sometimes all it takes for love to blossom is a Potions lesson, a few snide remarks and a dropped book.

Two people. Two entirely different worlds that are suddenly intertwined.

wow...i just started reading it and really lovin it! great plot and well written, too. although it seemed to me that the potter-malfoy or malfoy-weasley rivalry would've mostly faded away by this time...still, what you wrote is not too unbelievable. your sense of humor is also very good, which didn't show that well in "Hermione, you obliviated..."

Author's Response: Thank you, I'm really glad you're enjoying this! I think the rivalry between them has faded, but it's still there a little. Some of them wouldn't be so easy to accept the Malfoys, I don't think. ;) Thanks again!

that was so good...you almost made me blush along with Rose! and the quidditch match...i wouldn't expect it to be that good in any fanfic :-)

aww...this is so sweet...definitely going down to my favourites.
and the way you wrote about George made me realize once again how much i miss Fred. every time i read the word 'George'...it felt like my heart is half-empty... :-(

Author's Response: Thanks once again! And I know ... poor Fred ... :(
