good story, but one thing doesn't make sense. whos this grandmother telling the stories? harry's mom is dead, and hermione's mom is a muggle. unless u mean grandmother in a figurative sense, that doesn't work. good writing style tho, i enjoyed it...

im assumin to copy phantom? ur doing a good job....its accurate w/its own twist...i got a little annoyed by the exact copyin in the last part of this chapter, but if u look at it as just applying poto to hp, it works really well...god story tho, i really lk the idea, however creepy it is, of snape being obssessed w/mione...the dungeon parallel between the phantom and snape works well too, totally just got that

well, i loved it...don't know wut some of the other reviewers were reading, i thought it was great really realistic, not too fluffy, but not too dramatic. nough information to give me an idea of their past, not so much to flood the story with pointlessness, and not too little to make it incredibly vague. pretty much amazing...

Summary: Harry Potter has succeeded in defeating Voldemort once and for all. Evidently, he must then proceed to have a happy and wholesome life. He will live to be the youngest Minister of Magic, while retaining the title of Best Seeker in the World, and will eventually die at the ripe old age of 98, surrounded by his loving family composed of Ginevra Weasley (97 but still stunning) and their 10+ children (and numerous grandchilren, of course). Right?

Well, wrong. At least according to me.

A rather slow-moving, sort of sad one-shot. If you find time, please R&R!

hooray for quoting 1984...that was really cool and i think it is quite likely that woudl be one of hermione's favorite books...

this was really..usually when i write/read harry/hermione fics i like it if ginny and ron find other ppl, but u did this so well despite the incredible sadness i felt it was still amazing

Author's Response: If I had continued this story, Ginny would have moved on to Neville and Ron would fall in love with Lavander. And they would live happily ever after. Actually, I just made that up now... But if it makes you happy, feel free to consider that to be what would actually happen ;-)
