The Pretend Boy-Who-Lived by immortal_evil

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry's mind is racing as he is forced to take part in a photo shoot for an article for the Daily Prophet. He can not help but feel alone in a room full of people.

Very nice. You do a great job of capturing Harry's frustrations. Poor kid stuck in the spotlight. Definately enjoyable. Well done. ~Ginny

Nobody Told Me There'd Be Days Like These by Subversa

Rated: Professors •
Summary: This story is a sequel to Master of Enchantment, Bast, Meet the Parents, Meet the Boys, and Meet the Beetles. The honeymoon is winding down as Severus returns to work; Great Aunt Seraphina arrives for a visit, bearing gifts.

This was such an excellent story, and I don't believe that i reviewed it before, so I am now.

Subversa, you have such a great way of writing both Severus and Hermione that makes it seem realistic, and I truly love that about this story. Severus doesn't come across as a fluffy sap, maintaining his snarkiness. I love that about this story. (And I really loved Lockhart redecorating, that was hillarious.) Anyhow, thank you so much for this wonderful series. I really hope that you write more to it! ~Ginny

Author's Response: Hi, Ginny! I think Nobody Told Me has got to be one of the most fun stories I have written. The battles of Quirk, Lockhart, and Rita Skeeter were a HOOT to write. I certainly plan to contine with the series, once I finish with His Draught of Delicate Poison. I can\'t leave that nursery empty!

Not Only a Granger by ferporcel

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: [WIP] Post-HBP. Eleven years after the end of the war, Hermione finds herself in a delicate situation when her only son leaves for Hogwarts and threatens her most guarded secret: that he’s not only a Granger, but also a Snape! SS/HG.

You already know how much I love this story. (Especially since I pestered you just last week for the latest chapter... Is it done yet?) Anyhow, I just wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how much I enjoy this premise and that you've done a very nice job pulling the pieces together for this fic.

This first chapter, I know was only giving a bit of backstory, but it leaves so many unanwered questions. I'm sure that's to hook the reader, which you've done a great job of.

Anyhow, please post more! ~Ginny

Author's Response: Hi Gin! You\'re around here, too? *lol* This first chapter was intended to hook, yes. ;0) Thanks for reviewing here as well. I\'ll post new chapters soon. :0)

The Letter-Opener by Mind_Over_Matter

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Diagon Alley, 11:28am, 1946

‘The Salesman turned it over in his fingers. It was so small, and appeared so very frail. But if, indeed, what the old wand maker said was true, its value knew no ends.’

Mr Ollivander Sr. has an item on his hands to sell a young Salesman of Borgin and Burke’s. It is small, yes, but even the tiniest of packages can be full of surprises, full of power, and even, sometimes, full of memories.

The locket… the cup… the snake… something of Gryffindor’s or Ravenclaw’s…

This placed third (*boogie*) in the One Shot Challenge – Borgin and Burke’s.

As I've already told you, I think this is a brilliant piece. It's creative, tells a wonderful tale, and has plausible explanations. Well done, MoM!

Author's Response: *Is on top of the world* Thanks Ginny, for reviewing and (because I could never tire of looking for different mediums in which to thank you) I\'m humungously grateful for your work with me on this story! Looks like you found out it was up before I did ^^

Ultramarine by Magical Maeve

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Peter Pettigrew meddles with things he probably shouldn't, and Severus and Hermione take tea together.

This is a little alternate universe off-shoot of my Daughter of Light series, provoked by a very naughty PM from Jenna this morning. There are scenes of a sexual nature - you have been warned. This will probably be a few chapters in length.

LOL! Well, Jan, I don't know you that well yet, but I know enough to be quite surprised at this little piece 'o smut. So, you'll write SS/HG when you're dared or coerced? I think that perhaps you should be coerced more often. :) It's quite lovely, because as woomama has said, Severus & Hermione cannot be denied. They were meant to be together. *snicker* ~Gin
