I'm an adult fan of Harry Potter. I think fan fiction is a wonderful way to encourage creativity, reading, and writing skills!
thanks, as always, to my sister for "making" me read Harry Potter.
oh- I can't resist: one of my all-time favorite fan-fics:
- "Once Upon A Thyme" - you can find it at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1530065/1/ trust me, you'll love it if you like nice long tension-filled clever Hr/D stories! This particular author, DeChantel, has another long Hr/D story, too- look for it at her fanfiction.net profile page- I think it's even better than this one!
Links to both stories by DeChantel as well as some other faves of mine can be found at my fanfiction.net page: www.fanfiction.net/~professormary
just look for the "favorite stories" icon! Enjoy!!!
Hey- I have a new story starting- look for it at www.schnoogle.com- "Shifting Perspectives" by Professor mary... it's a Hr/D body-swapping Hogwarts-days adventure! enjoy! find it at:

the mirror of the erised- excellent plot device!!!!!
Author's Response: Thanks. I wanted to do something a bit different. I'm glad you liked it.
oooo- looks like I'm the first ....
the poem was indeed a lovely touch!
Author's Response: Thank you! That is my favorite poem. I love Coleridge. I suppose you can't blame me for living my fantasy in my story can you?
as usual, another great chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you I appreciate your kind words.
as usual, another great chapter!
I love the "new couple"!
Author's Response: Thanks! I love writing these two, and all the mischief they cause. They have so far been a reader favorite.
Snapes' insecurities make for an interesting character.
Author's Response: Very true. It also adds to the drama.
very sweet! the poem was a really ice touch for his character.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm happy you enjoyed the poem. It comes into play again near the end. I love Coleridge, and I can see Severus reading and enjoying his poetry.
nice turn of events! nothing like a baby to make life more complicated!
Author's Response: Oh yes, quite true. But complicated makes things more interesting. I'll have more up soon. Other people, and a couple of animals will get involved soon.
I think Snape's reaction was true to character- of course, he'd jump to conclusions! he's got low self-esteem, too. good plot twist!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked this twist. I think it was a normal reaction. I mean, few people would stick around after hearing something like that. Thanks for the review and thank you for reading.
i really like your character of Osiris, by the way!
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you like him. So far he is a huge fan favorite.
oh, the bastard!
this is really quite a fun story!
Author's Response: I'm glad you are enjoying this. Bastard huh? Yes, is being a butt, but he thinks he's been played with, so I can't really blame him for how he's acting.
i love the comedy between the odd couple!
Author's Response: LOL, thanks. I felt I needed something to break up all the drama. And I love the relationship between those two.

Author's Response: too good to not continue?
I really enjoy reading your story! I think the characters are right on- and the angst is great...
this is my favorite mugglenet fan fic- I love the detailed descriptions- I think that it's extremely important to "be inside" the minds of these two in order for any kind of meaningful connection to happen....
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the compliment! I am so pleased and touched at the way people have responded to this story. I just hope that I can do justice to the story and the canon. I've begun work on Ch. 13, for those of you who are interested, and it should contain a massive amount of new information and clues. I'm really excited... Thanks again.
Well, this was just fantastic to read, Taigan! Great work! You've really kept the characters so close to canon- everything about this story is believable... even though he's "painful" to read at times (poor Hermione!), I think your Draco is incredibly well-developed. xoxo prof mary
Author's Response: Thank you for all your help with this story. It wouldn't be nearly what it is without your help! Thanks!!!
wow! I love the intricacies of your story! you really put forth some effort... thanks!
Author's Response: You are quite welcome! I'm glad that you like the story.
