You did a wonderful job with this story! I love all of the light-hearted humor of it all. The chaos of the Burrow at the beginning is perfect, and you did very well keeping Fred and George exactly the way they are in the books. This was so funny, and all of the little details in it were wonderful. Great job!

Padfoot Prohibited by Liveley

At Hogwarts, Seventh Years are given an assignment to write such a letter for the new First Years. Sirius decides to actually take an assignment, well seriously...sort of. A Push in the Right Direction by Weasley Mom

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's the summer between Harry's 5th and 6th year and he is not dealing with the loss of Sirius. Perhaps all he needs is a little push from beyond the veil.

Bittersweet by Aebhel

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's funny about wars. They drive people to do things we never would ordinarily--good and bad. Harry and I had only been dating for four months. He loved me--I know that and I knew it then--but if there hadn't been a war, he would have waited. I think he just wanted something to hold onto...for when it was all over.

Ron comes across Ginny's diary, four years after the war has ended.

EDIT: 1000 reads!

Master of Enchantment by Subversa

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Winner in the Best Mid-Length Story and Best Romance categories in Round One of the Most Potente Passions SSHG Awards.

It begins the summer after Seventh Year, when the war is raging on, with an unexpected moment of tenderness. What is this inexplicable feeling Hermione experiences? And how can she get Snape to discuss it with her, when all he wants to do is avoid her? Rating for last chapter, only.

This is a great story! I really like the idea of the Enchantment, and I love how Dumbledore's "meddling" was involved in bringing Hermione and Snape together. The Legilimency part at the end was a very nice touch, connecting their minds as well. The story is also very well written, which made it even more fun to read. All of the descriptions and metaphors are fantastic. You did a wonderful job with it!

Through Fields of Gold by Seren

Rated:
Summary: She could walk through the graveyard without blinking, bypassing the graves of fallen childhood friends. She could walk through the halls of Hogwarts without missing a step, tracing back a path to her first day as she rushed through the school. She could even make her way to the Forbidden Forest and trample through it, ignoring the splashes and stains that still marred the aged trees and wasted ground. But Hermione cannot make herself face the Great Lake, calm on this balmy summer day, where she had watched three people she had slowly grown to love fade from existence. Character Death within. Post-Hogwarts.

This is one of those stories that no matter how many times you read it, it still makes you cry. It's definately one of the saddest ones I've ever read, but I really like it.

Wolf's Bane by Cherry and Phoenix Feather

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: All his life, Remus has known one thing: Love is not his friend. Love is the enemy for someone like him, which is why he denies it to himself. However, that denial could prove fatal as he and the woman he loves are sent on a mission that risks everything.

A/N: Rated 6th-7th years for later chapters (violence, mostly, but concepts that kids can't comprehend, like noble sacrifice and possibly some sexual content).

Lemon Drops by Hero London

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Lemon Drops is a short story about a young muggle woman working at Biddle's Sweetshop in Little Whinging. Late one night, on the very day that Harry Potter became "the boy who lived," she recieves a strange customer... Reviews are welcomed and valued!!

Great story! It's a neat idea, writing about Dumbledore from the salesperson's point of view. Good job! I have one question: Is Mrs. Thomas Dean's mother?
~JBV

Author's Response: Good question! But, I\'d have to say no. Jo Rowling says on her website that Dean Thomas is a Londoner (a very interesting background, I recommend you read it!). I don\'t think his mother would go all the way to Little Whinging just for chocolate but you never know...we women sometimes go to crazy lengths to satisfy our chocolate cravings! Thank you for your review.

Colour my World Before it Goes Grey by I Love Severus Snape

As the Ink Dries by SimplyMe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Hermione died in the Horcruxes crusade. One year later, Voldemort was finally destroyed and Ron returned home, exhausted. His room was exactly the same as he left it. But awaiting him on his desk was a small pile of letters with a short note on top.

Mr. Weasley, we found those letters addressed to you in Hermione’s belongings. It was only fair they were returned to you. Signed, Mr. and Mrs. Granger.

This is so sad! It's a wonderful story and very different from other Ron/Hermione stories I've read. I really like it!
~JBV

Author's Response: I wanted to do different, and that plot was lingering in my brain for so long... I finally got the courage to put it on mnff and I was surprise how positive the response I got was. Glad you like it and thanks for your review!

All the Answers by marauder_since_1993

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione want to know a million things, and talk to a million people, one of which is Dumbledore, but we all know that’s not possible. Right? One room in the Department of Mysteries may just have all the answers.

I made a minor change to Chapter Two, so you better reread it before Chapter Three is up.

Chapter 3 is in the queue!

Reviewer: Just Beyond the Veil Signed
Date: 07/14/06 Title: Chapter 3: You've Been Alive All this Time?

This is better! The only thing I didn't understand was why Regulus was sent to kill James and Lily. The prophesy wasn't made yet. Even if it was, they would have known about it from Dumbledore right away and protected themselves as soon as possible....Although now I'm thinking that since their pictures are on the wall, Voldie could have known that they knew something important, and ordered them killed. He wouldn't have known that the DoM would have their portraits, of course. If that was your idea, you might want to go back and explain that a little more. Other than that, it's a good story!
~JBV

Author's Response: thank you, and that was my intention. The prophasy was made not long after Voldie-thingy sent Regulus to kill James and Lily.
