All the Answers by marauder_since_1993

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione want to know a million things, and talk to a million people, one of which is Dumbledore, but we all know that’s not possible. Right? One room in the Department of Mysteries may just have all the answers.

I made a minor change to Chapter Two, so you better reread it before Chapter Three is up.

Chapter 3 is in the queue!

YOU KILLED LUPIN!!!! How could you?!! Other than that, good story.

Author's Response: I had to kill SOMEONE!

I agree with minoe. (Sorry.) The first two chapters were very good, but this one didn't seem to go with the rest of the story. Maybe if you rewrote this chapter and elaborated more on what happened, it would be better. Don't be afraid to make it 4 or 5 chapters, even. Also, the part at the end where Regulus came over to the good side seemed a little fast. All Harry had to do was suggest it and he agreed. If you want to do it that way, I recommend that you draw it out more and give them time to forgive him for the mistakes he made. You really had some great ideas for this and I hope you think about my advice. Oh and I almost forgot...*does second reviewer dance*
~JBV

Author's Response: FYI, JBV, I feel that Regulus was pressured by his parents to become a Death Eater in the first place, so he was on the fence between good and evil for the longest time. But I will take your and minoe\'s advice and adjust the story a bit.

Another cliffie! *explodes* I hope you can get chapter 4 up soon, so I can find out what happens next! ~JBV

Author's Response: I juggle fic updates like mad, (forget the Perils of Pauline, its the perils of being prolific, lol) but as soon as the queue clears, I\'ll put 4 in! ^_^

Author's Response: Gracias, Merci, and Thank you in any other language! ^_^ Evan does bring trouble, but this time, it\'s really not his fault, LOL.

Broken Glass by Morwen

Wow! I loved how you captured Remus's lonely feelings well. You made me feel his pain. He is one of my favorite characters, and I really think you did him justice. You are a very talented writer (and bannermaker =D). Great job!

Date: 09/08/06 Title: Chapter 5: Home Sweet Home

Good story! I really liked the ending: "In two separate times, two separate Dumbledores were pocketing their wands as the morning light made it’s way across the school grounds." When he said that they knew how he knew them, did he mean that he'd been time-traveling, too? That's just my guess.

I have a few nitpicks. When you were talking about the shield around Lily, you said, "...she could come over." Shouldn't it be "couldn't"? Then it says, "...and although Sirius could reach his hand in, Lily could reach her hand out." It should be "Lily couldn't." It's not really a big deal, but it just confused me a little at first. Good story, and keep writing!
~JBV

Author's Response: Yes, JBV, you are right on both accounts. Thanks for the review!

Shining Reflections by Cherry and Phoenix Feather

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: "He sat on a flat rock, gazing at the reflection of the moon in the lake. He supposed it was typical of him, to look at the shine of the image instead of the real thing."

A younger brother reflects on separation and betrayal.
Reviewer: Just Beyond the Veil Signed
Date: 11/24/06 Title: Chapter 1: Shining Reflections

This is a great story! I love how you have Sirius compared to the reflections of the star, when he used to be that star. Although Sirius is usually portrayed as sort of wild and a player, I think this is much closer to the way he was. Wonderful story, with a very sweet ending. Great job!

The Order of the Ravenclaw House Elves

Beneath The Shell by Sly Severus

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Andromeda takes a young Tonks to the beach. She quickly finds herself exhausted and falls asleep. Tonks decides to explore on her own. She meets someone her mother never expected her to meet.
Reviewer: Just Beyond the Veil Signed

I really like this story! Little Tonks is so cute! I don't think Bellatrix was OOC at all. I agree that she was nicer before she went to Azkaban, and would have been kind to Tonks. I like that she taught her the little lesson about how not everything is what it seems on the outside. I think she realized that she wasn't a good person and was protecting Tonks. Great job!

The Order of the Ravenclaw House Elves

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review. I\'m glad that you don\'t think Bellatrix is OOC. I was worried that people would complain about that. Anyway, yes, the idea kinda was that she thought she was bad, but remember she also told her that people could change, when she washed the shell. :D Thanks so much for the review.

The Way Old Friends Do by x_lily_evans_x

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

And the Sky Was on Fire by Aelan Greenleaf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I held your cold body against mine, as I shivered from both shock and grief. You were gone, and I had never even known you. And the skies above us were on fire, on fire with the new dawn, the dawn you would never see. And I cried.
