Wow... so One Last Golden Day won Runner-up for a Quicksilver Quill! Thanks so much to those that gave it a nomination. It's one of those stories I've always been rather proud of even if it didn't get alot of attention at the time I was posting it.
Feel free to poke around and drop me a comment.
Love,
Ashley

Haha, yours is the exact same path as mine so far! How interesting to see the differences in how we approached everything =D When did you post this? Are we allowed to add them to the queue??
Aw, a very sweet and lovely story. Not cliche and not too fluffy. Wonderful job =)
Author's Response: Merci beaucoup! :)
Congrats on your first fanfic! You're off to a very good start, nice flow and Harry and Hermione were in character. Keep writing, I'll keep an eye out for future chapters =)
Author's Response: why thank you! ch 2 isnt far off, its mostly written, just needs to go to my beta.
im really glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, I'm glad I inspired you to write this lovely, unique piece with that random "follow the butterflies" hidden video on the Potter Puppet Pals site, lol! I think this was absolutely lovely, Gina. The butterfly is a symbol of rebirth and transition, and I think it was a very clever device to use in Harry's progress of discovering the secrets of love and life. I really loved the end when the butterfly became black, and Harry was faced with himself. I think overcoming the boundary of your own doubts and limitations is truly the hardest hurdle to pass in life, so I liked that it was how you ended his journey. I found only one problem, I think anyway I may have misread. In the part with James and Lily, Lily said we choose twice, and I think it should have been chose, as she is referring to the past.
Excellent job dear! *hugs*

Author's Response: Hi Ashley! Yes, I suppose I should thank you for sending me these crazy links, although I\'m not sure they are all as inspiring as the Potter Puppet Pals. ;) I\'m so excited that you came to read this story! I\'m really happy with how it turned out - it\'s not what you would expect, is it? I went back and fixed that stupid past tense verb, thanks for pointing it out so quick. ;) I\'m very glad you liked this story, particularly the bit at the end - thank you for the wonderful review!! ~Gina :)
I'm so proud of you dear. Your style and voice have truly grown since your first one-shot, and I'm happy I could play even a small part in this lovely development from fanfiction dabbler to true writer. Keep it up, Sarah! I look forward to seeing what you do next =)
Author's Response: Thank you, Ashley! I\'m really glad you\'ve been with me since the start. You\'re the best!
