Wow... so One Last Golden Day won Runner-up for a Quicksilver Quill! Thanks so much to those that gave it a nomination. It's one of those stories I've always been rather proud of even if it didn't get alot of attention at the time I was posting it.

Feel free to poke around and drop me a comment.

Love,
Ashley

Harry Potter and the Mind's Eye by GhostCoon

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Harry begins to put his plans for defeating Voldemort into action, but runs into unexpected trouble that will make his task considerably more difficult. Harry will have to change his plans completely and rely on his friends more than ever as he battles Death Eaters and destroys Horcruxes, often inches from death itself. Seventh Year, post-HBP. H/G and some R/H. A lot of action, a little romance, a great read!

Hooray! About time Harry got to live! Very touching scene with Fawkes, bravo!

Author's Response: Thanks! Harry deserves a chance to live in the real reality, doesn\'t he? I\'m glad you liked it!

Transitional chapters are necessary in book 7 fics! And besides, I would be surprised not to find a chapter showing Harry's thoughts and fears before going into the final confrontation =) Congrats again, can't wait for chapter 26!!

Author's Response: It was quite necessary. 26 should be good!

Wow... two chapters in one day! GO MODS! This ending is still making me sad, I'm hoping the last(?) chapter makes it all worthwhile!

Author's Response: There should be thirty chapters total, though one is an Epilogue, and will be shorter. Still, all should be well.

Oh! Ooooo...hmmmm... I think (maybe) that I know what happened (perhaps). I'm not gonna say cuz I don't want to spoil this for anyone else... wow, if I'm right, then brilliant job! If I'm not, then you still are brilliant =)

Author's Response: It would be really cool if you were right. I think I left clues enough so that people should be able to guess approximately what\'s happening. You\'ll have to let me know whether or not you are right once you read the next chapter.

Excellent chapter! Only one issue, Hermione HAS collapsed under the influence of Dementors. In PoA, it's her, Harry, and Sirius that are attacked by the lake. Otherwise, brilliant work! Loved the badgers =)

Author's Response: I stand corrected; I would fix it immediately, but I\'m not sure if that would put the chapter under review again, and I\'m not willing to wait another week and some to have it back up. I promise to fix it eventually though. And I thought the badgers were fun, if perhaps a little silly. I couldn\'t resist.

As the Ink Dries by SimplyMe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Hermione died in the Horcruxes crusade. One year later, Voldemort was finally destroyed and Ron returned home, exhausted. His room was exactly the same as he left it. But awaiting him on his desk was a small pile of letters with a short note on top.

Mr. Weasley, we found those letters addressed to you in Hermione’s belongings. It was only fair they were returned to you. Signed, Mr. and Mrs. Granger.

Very nicely done! I usually hate stories where Ron or Hermione are dead, but you did this really well =)

Author's Response: Glad you decided to try one more of those stories with one main character dead... and I\'m happy you liked it too! Thanks for your review!

Six Flowers for a Wedding by Purplemage

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: When you marry someone, you marry their family too. This is something that Fleur Delacour and Bill Weasley didn't consider. The two families couldn't be more different, especially the women. The day before the wedding, Fred and George came up with a plan to make the women stop arguing amongst each other. That was, of course, if they didn’t kill each other first.

Runner up for Challenge #1 of the Spring Challenge

Haha, nice start! I agree, woman are completely insane (I know, because I am one). I'm happy to see you using the wonderful opportunity of making fun of Fleur's family. Too many people do the wedding stories and leave them out!

Author's Response: Lol, Women are not THAT insane, or maybe they are? I don\'t know, but that\'s why I love them so much. For me it was very important to include the Delacours in the fic, it would be weird to write about a wedding and only talk about one family. Thanks for the review!

Hmmm, Gabrielle seemed so... shy during the Triwizard Tournament. My how times have changed! I was surprised that Hermione didn't get more upset about the house-elf.

Author's Response: Well, sometimes people change drastically when they hit puberty, this is what happened to Gabrielle >.> besides the story wouldn\'t be as much fun if she was shy. hehe. Hermione had enough troubles to worry, that\'s why she didn\'t get mad about the house-elf <.<

Author's Response: Thank you Gryffinpuff. What stories have you written? I\'ll have to read some of them.

AUGH! I'm glad I came into this with so many chapters already approved or I might have gone crazy...

Author's Response: I\'ve written as far as chapter 10 but I\'m in the middle of severe writers block with 11! Hopefully that will have resolved itself before I reach to posting there.

Since you asked, I have a book seven fic called "Harry Potter and the Dark Lord," and a R/Hr fic called "Senses." Once again I reeeaaally like this story so far! Can't wait for the next chapter to be validated!

Author's Response: Can\'t believe it\'s taking so long for next chapter to be validated...I\'ll have to read your fic when I next get a chance (I don\'t like to start reading a story and then have to finish halfway though, I like to be snuggled up with my hot chocolate reading comfortably! :-)

Ok, my review didn't work for some reason. What I was going to say was:
Ok, I read this because I really wanted to leave you more reviews on your awesome writing prowess, but sadly I know about l-l that much about poetry, unless it rhymes or is written by Shakespeare. Anyway, excellent imagery, I felt very bad for Hermione. It looked good to me!! *hangs head in not-good-with-poetry-reviews shame*

Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely review Ashley. It doesn\'t matter what you know about poetry as long as you like it :-)

Awww, you write Harry and Ron's friendship very well. Sometimes people lose something in their voice inflection, how they react to each other, but you did a lovely job in this story. You should write more romances, you do them very well =) ~Ashley

Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much for the compliment! I wrote this story so long ago I am still sort of surprised when I get a review. It was my first story and I\'m fond of it. I\'m glad I was able to write Ron and Harry in character, I am working on a scene for them now in another story. Thanks so much for reading this one, I\'m glad you enjoyed it! ~Gina :) PS. I am actually wrapping up another romance right now. We talked about it a bit, it\'s called A Portrait of Love Lost. It\'s for the August Weddings Challenge. I just finished it last night, so I hope to have it all submitted soon. I am really happy with it and would love to know what you think if you ever felt like reading a story about Professor Dumbledore! Thanks again!! ~Gina :)
