My real name is Natalie but everyone calls me Nat-Pat, this is because of my father's evil workmates. The day i was born my dad's best friend put a big sign up in their workshop saying 'Big Dave's got a Nat Pat!' and the name stuck.

It's about time somebody gave that Snape a good seeing too, it's just a shame that Nathan didn't do worse! What's he doing to fix it indeed! How dare he! If it wasn't for him nothing would need fixing! - Sorry, i got a little carried away there.
So Harry wants to be a Curse Breaker instead of an Auror. Good. I'm glad to see you branching out and taking him away from ff's well trodden career path. I think that this might be a route JKR herself goes down. After everything he's gone through with Voldie it's only natural that he should want to do something else with the rest of his life. Good choice.
The scene between Joanna and August really made me laugh, i knew exactly what Mrs. Longbottom was up to, having seen my mother do a similar thing with one of my brother's girlfriends. Joanna proved that she has the stuff to be a Longbottom wife and that was just want Augusta needed.
More Anna and Nathan kissing! Sorry, you know how much i love that relationship. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Excellent, excellent, I like seeing Malfoy get what's due to him. The Neville and Joanna scenes were just adorable and i'm delighted that she's staying at Hogwarts!
I really enjoyed the scene between Anna and Nathan (you know how much i love that pair). I especially like the line, "I am not a buddha," one of my many, many nicknames is Buddha Nat (don't ask!) so that one tickled me.
I was really glad to see Bill back as well. He's just so cool. I think the part where he smiled at the giggling girls was great, we all know what it feels like when your crush smiles at you. I knew he would agree, he couldn't turn it down when it would help his little sister.
By far my favourite part was the sentence about Mrs. Belvin's feelings. The heart tearing and repairing was a wonderful idea that was beautifully expressed. Well done you! Till next time, Bye!

That was a terrific chapter! I don't really know what else to say, i think i've said all the great things that i could. My favourite bit was definitely Fred and George, that was excellent! The romantic moments were fantastic as always and i'm so excited that Neville and Joanna are going to go through with the bonding ceremony.

Soooooooo Good! It's been a while but the wait is always worth it when you provide such a delightful read. Anna still loves Nathan, REJOICE! I'm sure i've already told you how much i would love for them to get back together and it would appear that i'm in good company in the Anna/Nathan camp. If Dumbledore thinks they're right for each other i'm not about to argue... *tear*. Molly's finally getting her chance to take care of Harry in the way that she would want to, lets see her try and argue with that! I can't wait to read about the blood bonding, is that chapter coming soon?

Date: 09/10/05 Title: Chapter 20: Fates
Excellent, just....excellent. I loved every word and every comma. I don't really know what else to say. The idea of Neville having a bond was great one. I had four favourite scenes, knowing me you could probably guess what they were. Nathan being so wrapped up in his subject that he walked past his classroom was adorably funny, i particularly like Harry's coomment that 'his subject was wrapped up in him too'. Ginny shoving Harry into the broom cupboard was downright hilarious, especially when Harry couldn't help his mind from wandering to places it shouldn't. The scene in the boys dormitory had me in stitches and i wobbled precariously in my seat, they boy's reactions were comic gold. My final fave was the interaction between Harry and Anna, the joke that Harry'd end up knowing more about Anna than he wanted and her asking what he thought of when he thought if Ginny but quickly changing her mind.
It's amazing how much humour you managed to fit into what is essentially a very serious chapter. Your descriptions of Dumbledore were fantastic and i think you portrayed him very well here. All in all, it was brilliant work as always, keep it up (i don't know why i'm bothering to tell you that, i know you will anyway ;-)).
Author's Response: LOL - what a review! I'm so glad you liked the part where Harry noticed Nathan's preoccupation with Anna - that was one of my favorite moments, too. Ginny and the broom cupboard wrote itself - when that happens, it is obviously meant to be, eh? The boys dorm scene I could just see in my head - kind of one of those, "oh, dang, what now?" type of things. All those jumbled emotions. Ah love! Thanks!

You know what i hate about you? Just when i think you've given us your best chapter yet you go and reset the whole scale!
That was a fantastic chapter! Bill just ROCKS! Dumbledore was brilliantly funny, i love the way he can imply so much by saying so little and giving you a twinkling eye. Anna was so sweet with Nathan, i'm so glad he's still in love with her.
The twist with the chamber was one of your more brilliant storkes of genius (and as Dumbledore would say 'just between you and me, that is saying something'). At first i really wasn't sure but the more i think about it i realise that it would actually be the perfect place, it was where Ginny's love for Harry really happened. Dumbledore did say that when one wizard saves anothers life it creates a special sort of bond and the bond between Harry and Ginny was born in that place...
I'm suddenly aware that i've rambled on for long enough now so my parting words will be TERRIFIC chapter, i'm on the edge of my seat and can't wait to read the next chapter! *10**10**10*

Aww! I feel all warm and fuzzy inside, okay it's tainted with a borrible sense of foreboding but mostly it's a lovely feeling. This another brilliant chapter from you. I laughed so hard at the Malfoy thing that i nearly fell right out of my chair, it also happened when Bill made his olive green comment. LOL! I'm glad that Molly isn't angry at Nathan anymore, i was starting to feel so sorry for him everytime he was around her. Got a question, the witch that Nathan is knows who had so much trouble with her apparation, is she Anna? I really enjoyed the subtle changes in Harry's behaviour towards Ginny, they were really nice. I love the continued ribbons theme as well, it's just one of your many examples of beautiful imagery. Such good work, by the time i get to the end of each chapter i wonder how the next one could possibly be better but you never fail to amaze and astounded. I can't wait for the next chapter, you can feel the tension building up. *10* and a cookie and a lovely steaming cup of tea for you!

To him, it's just a natural thing. To everyone else, it's very new. Hee, hee. And yes, unfortunately, we can't be warm and fuzzy for the whole story...at least not yet! :)

That was BRILLIANT! I really love the way that the relationship between Harry and Ginny has developed, you described it beautifully. Ron's reaction to it all is downright hilarious as is Hermione's response to his complaining.
We in the Anna and Nathan camp are very happy to see them coming along so well, they do make me giggle and i really feel that James and Lily would have behaved in a similar way if they'd lived longer. The interaction between Anna and Harry is interesting, is he reading her toughts? Does it have something to do with Lily?
I was also delighted that it was Ginny who came up with the new plan, and i really hope that it works.
I can't wait to see the next chapter, this story just gets more and more exciting, I adore your writing!

Amazing, i'm so jealous, my battle scenes are never that good! It was a really intense chapter with a lot of emotion involved so naturally i loved it! I know i've told you like a hundred times now but i really love the ribbons thing, you work the imagery so well. This chapter was just a feast for me, it had some of my favourite things in it, Voldemort in pain, Harry and Ginny being all sweet and lovey dovey, Nathan and Anna kissing, someone threatening Snape, great action along with Fred and George to add quality humour. This verges on being he most perfect chapter ever!

See what happens, i disappear for a little while and you put up three chapters! Oh, well, more fun for me!
There are absolutely no words for just how much i loved this chapter! Anna setting her mother's table was something that i could identify with perfectly. I've lost count of how many times i've stopped myself after something and thought 'God! My mum would do/say that!' and grates me terribly. I love my mum but i don't want to be her. The way that the guest list increased really reminded me of our house as well. Flich is susceptible to bribery and corruption, no surprise there but with cakes and biscuits? That bit surprised me.
I really enjoyed the Christmas presents that Harry and Ginny got each other, i've told you before that i love the ribbons theme and that just isn't changing.
It was nice to see that Percy's engagement completely shattered the tension in the Weasley family. I particuarly liked Anna's observation that the awkwardness came from not knowing how to move on, another thing that my family experiences lead me to identify with. I also really liked the bit right at the end of the chapter where Percy says "I'll get the ice." It cracked me up, i was nearly rolling on the floor.
I now move on to the most important part of my review. You know how big an Anna/Nathan fan i am.
YYYYYYYIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! *jumps in the air and does the funky dance of joy* HHHHHOOOOOOORRRRAAAAYYYYY!!!! I'm so delighted! I want to throw a baby shower! WHOOO HOOO! In case it isn't obvious, i'm over the moon at this wonderful development. I'm glad that it was Molly who spotted it, Anna was right, after 7 children Molly knows the look. Nathan's reaction was FABULOUS! That was it for me, clinched it, made it my favourite chapter so far.
Well that's it for this one, i don't want to spend too much time here because i know that there are another two chapter waiting to be read but there were just some things that i had to say. Hehe! On to the next one....

I'm not going to leave a long review for this chapter because my time on the computer is limited and i really want to get to the next chapter. I loved Nathan's response, along with all the terribly sweet moments between him and Anna, this is quickly becoming my favourite pairing and lucky you, you've got the monopoly on it! It was great, i love the contrast between Harry and Ginny's bonding and Neville and Joanna's, it's nice to see the other side of the coin. Grrr! That blasted elf! Moving quickly on....

Ooooohhhh! That was a good one! Full of information. I think that Snape needs a good slap, just my personal opinion there.
I'll apologize if there's no logically path to my review, i'm just going to go with whatever comes off the top of my head.
I love the blackboard stuff, especially the little coments that you added. I was tickled pink by 'Eau de Evil' that was fantastic. Ron telling Anna that he liked her because she wanted food was funny too. Another Ron gem was him suggesting that they throw those nasty... insert appropriate invectives...in the lake covered in fish guts. I think that's a marvellous idea.
In recent weeks i have read two excellent chapters with Luna in them. I'll say the same thing again, Luna is a really great character and you've captured her perfectly. I think she's a bit like Dumbledore, she's misunderstood. She has a very keen instinct for certain things and people completely disregard her because she's a bit madcap. I really enjoy stories where an author picks up on this and uses her well in a story and you certainly did that in this chapter.
I loved this chapter, as always, and i'm running out of ways to say great, brilliant and amazing, but trust me, you're all of the above! Keep it up! (You never disappoint!).

That was such a great chapter! I know what you mean about killing her off, i wrote a chapter for my fic in which i killed off a character and even though i didn't really like them there was this part of me that felt so sad about the whole thing.
