Hi! I'm Marti, short for Martina, but everyone calls me Owlery... in the potterverse, that is. I'm an american 22 year old witch who feels that her calling is to write, as a muggle author, about the wizarding world in order to promote more friendly muggle/wizarding relations. This, fan fics, is part of my quest, which I take in happily despite the ridicule I recieve from my collegues in both our worlds. After all, the survival of each world depends on the other. This is awesome! Very realistic... so many of the rw/hg shippers write pieces that - while fluffy and fun - are so far fetched. 'man-you-pretty-lets-go-snog-because-I-love-you' stuff is sometimes interesting, but that's not the way things really happen. The real stuff is far more personable. Keep up the awesome work!!!

I really like this... really really really like this... you know, so many fan fictions stick to the norm, and sound just like the books only different plots. This story is really appealing to me because it steps out side the box, writes in a more adult way... Others may disagree with me, but honestly, I think this just rocks. When an author begins a story, they make a promise to the reader. Often, an author will begin writing beautifully, but then lose either their beauty or forget the promise they made. That makes me mad... and disappointed. You kept your promise, and still wrote as eloquently as when you started! I absolutely love it!
