Author's Response: I could be trite and respond with \"I made him gay because it is my story and my spin on AU characters, so there!\", but I won\'t. I will say, however, that it is surprising to think that Harry being gay (and I am assuming you\'re referring to Harry for this question, considering you didn\'t stipulate which \'him\' you were talking about) seems to offend so many people. It leaves me wondering if it\'s homosexuality in general that people are against, or if it\'s the potential for Harry to have a homosexual relationship, or both.
Regardless, there is a slash warning that comes with this story. Forewarned should have been forearmed! (grin)

Hey, lovely story! But I have one question, the part where Dumbledore announces Slytherin wins the house cup, why did you write it that way? It does not seem like Dumbledore would say something that way.

I\'m not sure what way you mean. Dumbledore said, “However, regarding the points system, one House has obtained the top spot with their resilience and determination. So, because of recent events, I award Harry Potter one hundred points for defeating the Heir of Slytherin. The House Cup goes to…Slytherin House!” Do you mean the slight pause? I thought perhaps Dumbledore would have a pause for dramatic effect. But if that\'s not what you mean, then I\'d be happy to clarify.
