The Unseemly Proposal by sparx

Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. You would not believe how long it takes to read your story!! I started a few days ago, but I didn't want to review until I was done.
I certainly gave you my vot i nthe Dramion Awards! I can't think of any other author who deserves it!!
Now, I was thinking about something you could do with the story. Just a suggestion, nothing huge. But- once out of school- it would be interesting if the two were forced to spend half the time in one place and the other half in another. (Hermione's house, and Draco's Mansion*) It would give the two of them insight on what the other person's life was like(mostly for Draco's sake, seeing as he probably knows next to nothing about Hermione's life), and bring them that much closer together!

But I\'m glad you managed to finish it and even left a review at the end of it. =D Thank you for considering TUP good enough to vote for it in the Dramione Awards. It really means a lot to me! Now, about your suggestion. I actually really, really like it, no kidding. But I don’t know if I will be able to use it. Nonetheless, I will keep it in mind and if not for this fic, then maybe for another?? But seriously, I will definitely take note of this one. Awesome suggestion! Thank you for coming up with it! =D

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •Summary: It's the summer after sixth year and Hermione is staying at The Burrow. Her dreams have finally come true: she is Ron Weasley's girlfriend. However, to her shock and dismay she discovers that the attainable has become the unwanted. She finds herself torn between not wanting to remain in a relationship with someone she doesn't love, and destroying one of the closest friendships she is likely to ever have. Amidst all this confusion, Draco Malfoy arrives in a coma from which it is doubtful he will ever leave. Hermione is asked to watch over him in case of a miraculous recovery. However, she finds herself pouring out her hopes, fears and dreams to her unconscious nemesis, someone who can't even hear her... or can he?
The two sequels I had planned for this will not be written any time in the near future. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.

A very, very good start to what is sure to be a wonderful story. But- yes there is a but- could you hurry along with the sessions of dumping her soul onto him?
