Wow! This was an all-around fantastic story. I normally do not like to read Dumbledore in a bad light, but I already know how you feel about him, lol. Aberforth is really believable, and I'm guilty myself of not ever thinking about him or how he dealt with having such an amazing brother. I forgot about the jealousies that would've happened, and you showed them beautifully in this fiction. Great job, Elle!
Author's Response: Thanks, Sarah. I\'m glad you liked it. It was a struggle for me to even write a Dumbledore fic, considering how I feel about him. However, it\'s always nice to get some positive feedback. Thanks so much. *huggles*
Fantastic story as of yet; I am addicted. Everyone is so beautifully in character that it draws you in without hesitation. It's great that you have build up instead of Draco and Hermione just madly falling in love with each other - it's very good and refreshing. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to read the next chapter!!
Author's Response: Thank you!!! Characterization is something I really work hard on - I\'m glad to know I\'m succeeding! And the build-up is almost necessary. Them falling in love now doesn\'t even make sense...they hate each other!
Thanks for your review!
Aww! I love this story! I've never read an A/T before, but this story may have just turned me into a shipper. Lovely writing, I loved your characterization of Ted - never thought of him that way - and of Andromeda with her humor.
The bathroom scene was hilarious. I literally burst out laughing when Andromeda said, 'I have no interest in your bodily functions'. Very funny.
Overall, great one-shot! It was a refreshing difference from what I'm used to reading. :D
Author's Response: Have you been reading Dark/Angsty stuff? :D I\'m going to post a George/Alicia fic For Bitter or for Worse there as soon as after DH stories are allowed, but I\'m always happy to lure a reader to the Light side, LOL.
Wow, Suzie, this is such a fantastic poem. I wish and hope that one day I can write poetry like that. Even though it doesn't specify two people, I imagined Harry and Ginny, though it could be applied to many, many ships. The sentence structure and the flow is really good, and the story is heartbreaking yet somehow hopeful at the same time. Beautiful job.
Author's Response: Thank you Sarah! :) *huggles* I didn\'t specify who this was about because I did want it to have an application to several pairings, but H/G was what I was really thinking of. Yay! I\'m glad you like it...and I\'m sure you can write poetry too! *nudge* :p
~Suzie <3
Wow! Yet another fantastic story you've written. You make it very believable. I *love* the friendship that Harry and Draco have, and I love the flirty thing going on between Draco and Hermione. I only wish it could've been more! Any thoughts on writing a sequal, dealing, perhaps, with Draco and Hermione? Hmm? =] I understand that this is for the challenge, though. So, alright, but maybe in the future?
Anyways, great story, lovely scenes to put in there. I like Dumbledore's line at the end; it made me think if Draco really could be a Gryffindor. Oh, and I love how you kept him in character even though he was in Gryffindor. =] Bravo!
Author's Response: Thank you, Sarah! Your words mean so much to me because I know we\'re both intense Draco/Hermione fans ~ and because I\'ve been nothing but impressed and inspired by your own portrayal of Draco. It was important to me to keep him IC even though he\'s a Gryffie. And yes, I would love to get the two of them together in the future. :-)
I really appreciate your sweet review!
You\'ve made my day! *hugs*

Awwww! That was so sad. I am about to cry. I love this song, however sad it always makes me - the fic played out the song so perfectly. It was so sweet at the end, where he thought this:
He smiled at her, she didn’t know it but she was his angel, her love saved him. Death no longer brought fear. Someone loved him.
That was really heartbreaking. All he needed in his life was love, and he would've felt complete. Oh, gosh, that is so poetic and heartbreaking and very Draco, in a way. How he would react to someone actually loving him.
The very end is so sweet, when he tells her he loves her. It's just sad to know that he waited until it was too late, he waited so long, to tell her. And then he was gone. Beautifully written fic. *grabs tissue and wipes eyes*
LAUR! This story is so touching, and so beautiful. I used it for D/A First Years class, if you'd like to see more comments that I have made on it. It is so beautiful and well written.
I rarely ever read a Dumbledore centered fic, rarely ever see him in such a light. It was so well done, and lovely to read. It made me very sad, yes, but somehow at the end, I felt a gleam of hope (with the pheonix and new beginings).
I love how you characterized DD, with his family. It was so cute, and yet so realistic. I haven't ever seen him done as a younger man, and this was very good. Overall fantastic story.
~Sarah
This story is so fantastic! I'm hooked! Who is the mysterious boy, hmm? Oh, I wonder! Haha.
Nice touch of not making Draco head boy. Took away some of the clicheness of it all. :)
Fantastic writing, great story so far, and I can't wait for more! Everyone has been so delightfully in character, too. Bravo!
Life is so fickle.
Full of bends and surprises. Just when you think everything is settled and quiet, something arises, something that makes you feel what you never dreamed you would feel, and face what you don’t even realize you need to face. And just as unexpectedly, these bends arch to a happy ending...if we tweak them.
Sequel to ‘To Love Life Again’. Let me take you back to Ireland with Andrei and Hermione, but will they stay? Something, somebody, is calling them to England.Andrei becomes Draco Malfoy again. Sparks and verbal sparring fly again. All because of one little girl called Lucie.
Hermione Granger never does anything halfway. And Draco is a Slytherin in touch with his instinct of using all his options for his ends. They understand each other. And with this kind of understanding, comes some confusions and delusions. But just when you seem so certain, then somebody bends...
Fantastic new chapter; I loved the small tender Dramione scenes! It was very cute, and yet IC. Great work! *waits hopefully for next chapter*
Author's Response: I just might update with all these nice promptings! Thanks, Sarakime! And coming from you, that really heartened me, that I have Draco and Hermione IC. ^_^ Thank you!
Yay! A sequel! I totally LOVED TLLA, it was so sweet and amazingly written. I think I reviewed it before. I'm not sure. Anyways, I'm so glad that you've posted a sequel! Your writting is beautiful, as always, and I love your characterizations of Draco and Hermione. Nice cliffe, I'm dying to know what happened that is going to tie them back to England. Update ASAP, please! /begging
Great story! I'm rooting along with the rest of the town for some Andrei/Hermione. =]
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Sarakime! I hope I keep up with your compliments! The second chapter is already done and redy, so hang in there! ^_^
Oh, my god. I love, love, love this story. It's so heartbreaking, yet hopeful. Draco's emotions are so well shown - his fear about love, the way he denied it every time even though it pained him, even if only to save Hermione in the long run. It was so heartbreaking to see him walk away everytime, and so IC and determind of Hermione to keep trying.
I love the part in the Astronomy Tower, where she asks him why and he said he wasn't strong enough. It was such truth, and a very well played out scene. It was also cute to see Draco and Hermione holding hands and whatnot. =]
The ending leaves a lot of potential, yet it doesn't disrupt the flow of the fic (which is almost dark and mysterious and sad). It was really well done, and I must say it was good that you didn't rush into the whole 'I love you!' 'oh, I love you too!' scene, because it wouldn't've fit with the rest of the fic.
Great job, this is going to my favorites. I only wish it were a bit longer.
Oh, and the song was really great, too. It fit very well.
~Sarah
Ohh, great chapter! Things are slowly heating up. I like your portrayal of Hermione; it's edgier for some reason. Bravo. Can't wait for the next chapter, and her *zomgflip* at Draco's being Head Boy. . .
Hey, Ellie! I had forgotten to review this before, and now, the perfect opportunity came up for my class.
This one-shot is really touching, and really deep. The fact that they were connected through their losses was sad, but yet, still true. Even though they had completely different goals, they kinda encouraged each other to follow in the footsteps, to make their hero proud, and to support each other, and I liked that. They knew the differences, acknowledged them, but felt their connection anyway.
I loved this line:
"We will always be on opposite sides of the war, Susan. But we will always share a bond–a bond between two people who know what it feels like to suffer a great loss.”
I love the way he said it; 'We'll be on opposite sides of the war'. I don't know why, but I got a visual from that, lol. And I like how they were bonded even if they might grow up to fight against each other, or even kill each other.
Overall, lovely one-shot. The beginning was so sad, with Susan and her crying. They were both really IC though, which was great. Bravo!
Author's Response: Thanks, Sarah. I\'m glad you were impressed with this. It really is a strange bond that Draco and Susan share. However, they are so similiar and you completely opposite. It was really fun to play with this story.
*huggles to Sarah* Thank you so much for the really wonderful review!
Awww! This story was so cute. I loved the sarcastic and witty Draco shown, and his stubbornness matching hers. It was so cute! If only there were small drabbles to go with each letter, because it got a little confusing at some points. >.>
Anyways, cute little story! Loved the To's and From's. :)
Elle! Yay! I'm glad to see this story up. It is so great, like I told you before. It's wonderful how they're both so IC, and yet put in this situation in which most people couldn't imagine them being in. It was wonderfully done, and very real. :D
*huggles Elle*

Author's Response: *huggles Sarah*
Thanks so much for the lovely review. This story was particularly interesting to write.
This story was so beautiful and so amazing. I cried; very much; it was very sad. Your writing is beautiful and I'm still in awe so I can't write a proper review, but, just now, I loved your story very much. *cries for Andromeda*
I love how Draco came in at the end. And the looks Harry and Ginny shared. It was all very believable and sad and... again, cannot write a good review right now. Sorry. Great story, though!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you. I\'m honored that you were moved by the story (although I\'m sorry (a little sorry, anyway) that it made you cry). ~Ken
