This was great. Very well done!
Author's Response: thanks! :) ~GG
Awww...this was sad. Poor Severus. He always seems to lose out in the end. Good story.
Author's Response: I know....actually this is the first sad story I\'ve ever written because I just can\'t take sad endings. Ironic, huh? Thanks for the review!
Eerie. I love it! This was an interesting look into the mind of the evil rat man. I cannot stand Peter, but I still really enjoyed this story. I liked how you said he couldn't understand how the others stayed loyal when it was so obvious who was going to win the war. I can imagine that being his only reason for switching sides. He was only interested in saving his own neck. He is such a git. Anyway, the point is this was a really great story. It was interesting to see flashes of Peter's life from childhood to what most likely would be shortly before death. Very well done!
Author's Response: Thank you. It\'s definantly a favourite of mine. On some level I think \'the evil rat man\' (lol) is misunderstood. Although, I do think all he was thinking about was saving his own life.
I loved the last line of your review. That was hilarious. I'm glad you liked the story. And thanks for the review.
Author's Response: Ooops! Responding confusing me since we switched to the new version. And I don't have modly powers to delete this anymore. So if a mod happens to see this, it would be greatly apprectiated if you could delete my ramblings.
This was good. I think the twins should have had their say, though. But still, well done! Enjoyable to read.
Eerie. I loved it! It was interesting how Severus immediatly related Ginny's situation with his "situation" with Lucius. I loved the softer side of Severus. It was also cute how you included his lovely thoughts about Harry. Well done, as always!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Harry always has to be worth a sour thought or two, I think, if he\'s around to be thought of at all. One of the reasons I wrote Lucius as I have is his casual indifference toward Ginny; his indifference to Severus worked naturally enough with that, and Severus seemed likely to note the similarity.
Awww... It's hard to pinpoint the emotions at the end of the war, when its finally over but so many are gone. This was very well done. Good Job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I kind of wanted to show how everyone was just....lost. Then it progressed to Hermione, and... yeah.
Awww...poor Draco. I hope he doesn't end up like that.
This was very good poem. Well done!
Author's Response: Yes, poor Draco. I hope he dosen\'t either. Thank you so much for reviewing!
This was really good. I loved the interaction between Severus and Draco. I really loved the bit about the money.
I didn't like the way he treated Narcissa though. He did promise Draco that he would protect her; I wouldn't think that would include allowing her to go on a crazy hunt for him.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this. The end was cool too, because it still leaves the reader guessing just which side ole Snapey is on. I'm not still guessing though because I will always believe that he's good!
Author's Response: Thank you! Well, he did tell Draco he would take care of Narcissa, that is true. But, at the same time he blames her for a lot of what has happened. He got backed into that Unbreakable Vow, in my opinion, and it left him trapped. He wasn\'t feeling much sympathy for her at that point. I\'m glad Snape\'s loyalty still seems up in the air, though I can tell you I believe he\'s good. Still, I wanted it to be ambiguous in this one shot, so looks like I succeeded there. Thank you very much for reviewing! : )
Awww...this was sweet. I wondered if Petunia would have been better to Harry if it weren't for Vernon. I never understood why she married that horrible brute.
Anyway, this was nicely done. I can just picture little Harry and Dudley playing in Cheerios!
Ha! I can't believe she offered to read Snape a bedtime story. That was hilarious! I can't believe it took me so long to start reading this!
Author's Response: Welcome aboard!
This is really very amusing. It is completely holding my interest. Good job!
Author's Response: Thanks! Teh Funneh really kicks in in Chapter 5...
Oooo, chills! This is really great! I can't believe it took me so long to start reading it. I loved how she responds to him. This is really well done.
Author's Response: Thanks!
Awww...a Snape apology. I love it! He really is adorable to read about because his reasoning is so --warped, for lack of a better word. Really loving this. :D
Author's Response: Since you only just started reading it, can I ask how you found out about it? Just wondrin\'...
HA! This was beyond hilarious. I have never thought of Dolores attempting to seduce anyone, let alone Snape!
I absolutly love this line: "How she could use so many words without saying a damn thing was beyond him."
And I also loved the end where Severus implied that poor Lucius was gay. The poor guy, that may very well come back to bite both of them, but it was funny none the less.
Best chapter yet!
Author's Response: It did come back to haunt him, but that chapter was a little too vengeful to get validated. Eh, win some. lose some.
Well, isn't Hermione awfully trusting of the ex-Death Eater. I would like to see how Harry would react if he knew about this.
I'm still very hooked, so good job. I usually don't read an entire chaptered story if I don't start it until there are already 16 chapters up but I can't imagine not making it to the end of this one. :D
Author's Response: Well, I think Herms knows sincerity when she sees it, even from Snape. As for your second paragraph...after reading it through several times I think it was a compliment. ! ;P
A drunk Snape. Very interesting. I don't think I've ever read about him where he acted drunk. I liked the way you did it though, escpecially making him more opened with Hermione. Cheers.
Oh yes, and you asked where I learned about this story. I remember seeing it in the most recent and thinking it would be interesting. Then I saw your banner in your siggy on the fourms. And finally, I was reading through the Slytherin Story Master List and decided that I would check it out! :D
Author's Response: Hiccup! Yeah, I don\'t see him as the type that gets ripped too often, but everyone has their moments and I was lucky enough to catch him having one. *wink*
Hee hee, sounds like you needed a lot of nudging to become curious about the story. Well, I\'m glad you did.
Ha! Best chapter yet! You really had me going there. I was totally not getting it. But I have a question, if that wasn't a dream, what was it?
Author's Response: Legilimency, baby! Think of Harry, getting that vision of Sirius being tortured in the Hall of Prophecy. Never really happened, right, but Voldemort sent the image into Harry\'s dreams so realistically that he thought it happened...so Snape, being right there with wand in hand, sent the same sort of thing into Hermione\'s mind while she was awake.
So she's falling in love. How cute. I don't know what it is about this pairing that works. The first time I heard it, I was like EWWWW. Then I started reading them because I ran out of other Snape-centric stories, and I fell in love with the pairing. They amuse me to no end. And you are very good at writing them.
Sorry, one of my other reviews was confusing. It was meant as a compliment! :D
Author's Response: Well, she\'s falling into something--I wouldn\'t call it love just yet. Hee hee. And no problem about that one review--it just took a couple of reads-through to figure out what it said! ;)
Ha! How many people would have the guts to tell Severus Snape that he looks like a little boy?
I loved it. But I agree with Hermione, he's one of the good guys.
Also, was it my imagination, or did I actually read something about Lucius protecting Potter???
Author's Response: I think the line between good and bad gets extremely blurry around Snape.
Lucius: I always envision him as just a HAIR more calculating than, say, a Pentium chip. ;) I think if he understood the whole prophecy--i.e. that it was truly possible to wipe out Voldy once and for all--he\'d be all over that like flies on doo-doo. Why settle for being a General when you can depose the dictator and become the Big Kahuna?
