I am addicted to Harry Potter. And that's pretty much all you need to know.
Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.
* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *
(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)
I rarely review, but I figured if anyone deserved one, it would have to be you.
A Tale of Two Matchmakers has gotten me through second semester senior year when there's nothing to look forward to except dreaded college letters. I had surgery this morning for appendicitis and seeing the final parts of this story up cheered me up so much! But maybe I'll save reading them for when I'm not so out of it — I love your writing and I don't want to miss a thing!
Author's Response: Appendicitis! You poor thing, and to think you R&R\'d even when you were \'out of it!\' I wish I had flowers to give, but all I have are ♥ ♥ ♥ !
I love this story; it breaks my heart to read it knowing everything's going to fall apart, but it's so addictive. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: I\'m glad it\'s addictive - and I know it\'s heartbreaking. Thank you for reading.
Giant spiders, malevolent bats, wizard scouts...werewolves. Tonks finds life in Hogsmeade far from simple, while Remus discovers having a partner in touch with her inner wolf complicates his mission and his heart.
Ooooh how sneaky to add in Kreacher's scars! I wonder where those are from ;-)
Every time your stories get updated, my day gets so much better.
Author's Response: The only way Walburga could keep her man--blood magic--lol. Couldn\'t you see Kreacher\'s eyes glowing with passion to volunteer?
Thank you!
This story is beautiful, and I mean it. I love the Weasley family so much and you've described them all so well!
All is not well.
George uses work and Firewhisky to cope with Fred's death until a drink with a friend leads to something that dulls pain better than alcohol. Emotionally torn by grief, he struggles to allow Alicia into his life...and then comes baby....
*Winner of the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Dark/Angsty Story*
So as soon as I read about Remus and Tonks in Deathly Hallows, I immediately thought of your stories. Which may or may not make me a huge nerd.
I'm loving this story though. I love George so much; I don't think I can ever forgive Rowling.
Author's Response: Thinking of my stories makes you a sensitive soul with good taste! ^_~
I think Jo would say \'sorry, but it\'s my story, so I decided who lives and dies.\' Makes me glad there\'s fan fiction, and an AU category for writers who won\'t kill off their favorite couple!
George will have a lot of forgiving to do before he\'s on his way to healing...but it won\'t be anytime soon!
What a great story! I've been imagining what things were like between Harry and Teddy and this was perfect! Excellent work.
Author's Response: Well, thank you! I\'m sure there\'ll be many more FF stories about Teddy Lupin before too long. ~Ken
