writing my own story. It's taking forever. I also like to read what others write.
Thoughtful chapter. Good job at conveying the anger he feels at Bella.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, you really kind of have to step into poor Neville's mind to see what he thinks. I imagine he would have anger built up in him for a long time. Thanks for your review!
Sirius' will was realistic. Liked the use of the Pensieve
I doubt in book six Harry would come clean like that. But it is a touching chapter and consistant with the characters as you interpret them.
"You've gotta face Bloody Voldemort and you're worried about facing my brothers because you kissed Ginny." The right touch of lightness.
excellant irony, killing Vernon and Dudley. Little does Harry Know that he's being set up by You know who. ?
Harry and Snape's conversation showed some maturity on the part of Harry.
Wouldn't Lupin be taking the Wolfsbane Potion to make his transformations less painful?
Author's Response: Yes the potion should make them less painful. Less painful does not mean pain free however.
"We tested it on Snape." good line
Amusing chapter. Like others I thought it was ingeneous that Harry needs to get into detention to talk to the order.
Something tells me Malfoy wasn't working alone. and I dont mean Crabbe and Goyle either.
Moaning Myrtle as a messanger, golden owls flying out-nice imagary.
Author's Response: Thanks! The golden owls are little symbols, like you know how Fred and George scraped a "handful of owls" ? Hehe.
I think it's refreshing that there is a story that has some of the minor charactors in it.
I liked the slang and the possible misinterpretations of it. I think your second explanation might work. After all alot of the wizards have problem with British Mugglespeak.
I'm not sure if Hermione would really talk to Jack about that. But that's just a minor thing.
Author's Response: Well, if you read on, you'll see that this conversation between Jack and Hermione leads to a few things in later chapters
It is interesting how someone with an unrequited crush on someone deals with him as an adult. There are always some parts of people that don't grow up.
I thought Snapes reaction to Athene was in character as well as his guilt.
I am in "there must good Slytherins camp" and as such they would have been at the clinic if only to spy on the other team. Overall this chapter went well.
I thought it seemed odd that Dumbledore didn't interview Harry after that attack. If Voldemort isn't getting in to 12 Grimmauld, then Harry has to be leaving. Dumbledore has to wonder how Harry left. There would need to be more investigation or more spells that would detect if Harry is apparating or something.
Still an interesting story
Author's Response: He did. I just did not feel the need to write it out as I left other clues. The interview did not result in much, as Harry had forgotten/repressed the dream. So Dumbledore does not KNOW that Voldemort attacked Harry. He does know somebody did and did add some more protective spells but Harry does not know that. I hope this helps.
A In spite of his grief and anger about Sirius death, Harry is mature for 16. He can't be that dense. After all he has to defeat Voldemort by book 7.
