Title: Chapter 1: Dishwashing
I like this. I think some of the best stories leave out the final battle. I know I've tried to write it several times and failed miserably!!! btw, I love the name Damaris, is there a story behind it?
Author's Response: Yay! Someone bit! I learned a lesson from our dear Ms. Rowling and went looking for a name that either described my character, or was the complete opposite. (ie: Harry means king, the Weasleys are anything but weasels, etc.) Anyway, I found the complete opposite on a baby name website. Damaris means "meek and mild."

Title: Chapter 1: Going Home
kick ass story!! I had planned on just popping on and reading, no reviewing or anything like that, but I had to praise you on this. By the time I was done reading this, I could feel Harry's anger. True mark of a good author if you can change the mood of the reader!!! 10 for 10!
Author's Response: Thanks. That's pretty much what I was going for (the feeling the anger part). I feel this is rather different from my first story -- definitely less romantic and more angst -- and when you venture into new territory you're there's also more of a chance of falling flat on your face.
