Kelly is the name, well, more specifically Kel. That's what everyone calls me anyway. I live in the U.S. and am from the greatest city in the world; Chicago. I'm still in high school, but I am so close to being done that I can taste it. In my free time, I write fanfiction, play the violin and guitar, play for my school's softball team, and volunteer at the local hospital ( yes, I realize that I am a bit of an overacheiver). But, with aspirations of attending Columbia University and then on to Johns Hopkins for Med School, it is kind of necessary, but it makes my life crazy busy.
As for the fanfiction world, I love it. It is where I spend all the time I'm not doing one of my extra-curriculars or hanging with friends and family. I write for the Gilmore Girls and HP fandoms, mostly in the romance section. My fave couples are Rory/Logan, James/Lily, Harry/Ginny, and Teddy/Victoire. Those are the fanfics that I generally write. I like the idea of chaptered fics, but I am notoriously known for not finishing them, so one-shots are safest for me.

I have finished writing through Chapter 9 of L2L and I am waiting for my beta to come back with Chapter 7 so I can post it. During this long wait, I wrote a companion fic to "Confessions of a Boy in Love" entitled "It Wasn't You, It Was Me" from Lily's POV. That should be up soon and I hope you enjoy it!

Okay, this line TOTALLY CONFUSED ME. at first i was like oh, its ginny because of this line. and then it was HERMIONE. and usually i don't like harry hermione, but since she ends up with ron, i guess thats KIND OF okay. anyway, i just wanted to suggest taking out that line or changing it a little so that it doesnt confuse other people.
Author's Response: I actually don\'t remember exactly what I was thinking when i wrote this line, but I knew it would confuse people. And I chose to leave it in. Hermione doesn\'t have any siblings, and she counts her two best friends as almost her siblings. Except...not. I mean, she loves them as much as she would love a family member. She was referring to her state of thinking at that point in time, after Harry\'s passing. She had thought of Ron so often as a brother....and then other feelings just developed from that. Anyway, I hope I cleared up some of the confusion. And thanks for reading!

It was pretty well written, though I'm not sure exactly where the plot is going, but I guess that could be construed as a good thing!
Oh, and don't they have elevators(lifts) in the Ministry of Magic, so that wouldn' really be a Muggle thing would it?

Author's Response: Yes, its a line from the notebook and a song title by Dropout Year. The first chapter is really just laying the foundation, it gets much more interesting in the second chapter, and much more is revealed. Should be validated in a week, so keep checking back!

I really liked this! It didn't have much of a plot, but then again, what one-shot does? Loved the James/Lily stuff, it balanced out the darker tones in the middle and end well!
