I adore this strory. And I do belive that all The Maruders were in love with Lily ( in there own ways.) Peter was to shy and insecure to love her. Sirius was to angry and reckless. Lupin was unconfident in himself and did not want her to have to worry about his "furry little problem." And James was just perfect for her. I do belive that you have to love yourself before you love anyone else. And that is what James did. So he was capable of loving Lily properly.

Hi, responding to earlier review, I don't trust Bahir because of the images Ariel saw in the pensive-like object. And if Ariel feels he can't be honset with Bahir, then how can he or even the reader be honest with him. Don't get me wrong, I love Bahir, there is a difference between not liking and not trusting. Mabey since Ariel relized that, his karma kicked in and he got a date with Bahir. I'm sorry Ariel got teased by his homophobic colegues. I don't see why people have a problem with other's sexuality. As long as something dosen't physically or emotionally hurt you, it should not bother you. And about 75-80 percent of homophobic men are most likely to be gay or bisexual as well. (Have we reached hypocritical mass yet?)
But hate is the tree grown from the root of fear. So mabey if they claim "to be afraid of being hit on by a fag" they are really afraid of getting what they want.
My personal story behind that rant was getting to know a guy (I sort of liked) and heard him talking about "how nasty those faggots are." Not only did that turn me off and offend me, (because I have numerous friend who are gay and bi. )But bigoty of any kind makes me uncomterable. Anyways, after the gay-bashed he started paying more attension to the "the guys" then me. (I'd like to add that he gave them very physical attension like, shoving and wrestling.) And later, a friend ( outside the group) told me the statisticI just used.
I know I probubly sound hypocritical to be ranting about gay bashing, but I'm am okay with other poeple's opinons as long as( if they hurt other people) they keep them to themselfs.
