My James/Lily fic, Never Too Late For Love, is up!
And now my chaptered project Al Potter, Chapter 1 is up as well. =)
Messrs. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs -- These names are known by every person in Hogwarts. These names, and an envelope with a scarlet wax seal bearing the letters: MWPP.
The teachers dread it, the students revel in it...but who are these 'Marauders,' as they are called? That's just it. Nobody knows. Most every prank Hogwarts sees is at the hands of these mysterious Marauders, and the perpetrators always walk free. They could never be caught. You can’t catch phantoms.
Lily Evans is just as curious as the next student as to who these Marauders are, but her curiosity is transformed into a hungry need, when she receives a letter herself from a certain Mr. Prongs.
[This story is slightly AU, but more on that in the author's note at the end.]
I liked it a lot! I can not wait to read the next chapter. But I do have one question- what does 'AU' stand for???
Well, it was good, but I kind of wish there was more to it, you know? A bit of a cliff-hanger. *sigh* But this was brilliant, I liked reading it a lot....good job!
I'm a tad bit creeped- i hope James won't find out that Snivellus has the hots for Lily......hm. I hope not....:) good job!

I'm still miffed about Lily cheating on james at severas, and now I hope that lily won't ever get back with James again. urgh, and I also hope that sirius and james will beat jessica flanning up. oh, and that lily and james won't get back together. Sadly, and far too predictably, James will come to the rescue, hold Lily in his arms, she'll take him back in a wink of the eye, and then jessica flanning will be forgotten and ignored, and no longer part of the story, and then you'll end it somehow with the birth of harry or the death of the couple. *sigh* things are far too predictable. now, if I dare hope to complicate things by adding a rescuing Severus Snape, whom betrays the Dark Lord, aids Lily in her escape, then James runs in, scowls at Sev and takes Lily back. I think I fancy that waay better. :) i like predicting.
ooh, angsty. Hm. Well, for some wacked up reason, I always hate it when things work out. I mean, Lily totally blew off James for 'cheating' and I think James is....in need of it. I dunno, but she shouldn't just take him back. Actually, I'm still stinging from the fanfic 'Someone to Watch Over Me, by MagEd' because...well, read it yourself then. But really, James probably can and will dump her- Lily is sort of just his challenge, hm? I hope they straighten it out and Heroic Snape makes an appearance. I'm growing attacged to your story, grape_2010! Good job!
Lovin' it! I suddenly like it a lot all of the abrupt sudden! Pete's a rat! Charlie and Sirius sadly won't last! Yaay! The mirror might just work! Now this next chap: lemme guess, james and lily are torn apart, watch the other get tortured, or the mirror is smashed and its just luck they all escape. OR: The mirror thingy works, they cook up a plan, dumbledore and co. help and everyone gets away happy. :) I'm soo good eh? =)
That is what I absolutely hate and love about all the lily/james fanfiction. It always ends miserable- and it always makes me cry. Well, Ms. or Mr. grape_2010, you did a fabulous job at this. I liked it so much- and you managed to get a good storyline without succumibng to my predictions......hehe......great job, anyhow! Every time i read a lily/james fic, I'm inspired to write one. Now really, I have to say, I think I finally have the motivation to actually write it. Well.....so be it! Great job, I knew you were good.
Author's Response: I know what you mean about being disappointed with the way it ends. It was tempting to make up my own ending, but I just couldn\'t. Some readers don\'t like the way I ended it, but that\'s the way it was.

Yeah, here it is, July 7, 2007, and a lot of info in this isn't perfectly adequate. But it's a sweet story, and you follow it closer than one might. Good job, it's sweet.

This piece is a seventh year, One-shot concerning Hermione and Draco that will either puzzle you, or intrigue you. I might warn you of slight AU, it depends on your take on this piece. We already know that this couple wouldn't exist in canon anyway, so please bare with. This was my very first HG/DM pairing and I did my best to avoid any...cliche's with this complex couple. And really, let my know your opinions. Criticism, flames, well hopefully not, or kind words are deeply appreciated.
Definitely an excellent start, but why on earth didn't you finish it? It seems to me that Hermione and Draco's story has just started.

I love your story!!!!! It was magnificently written from start to finish and I must say I love the ending. And the beginning. And the middle. I was sad when Malfoy went bad, but thrilled when he turned good =P the whole thing is awesome overall.

Author's Response: This isn\'t my favorite chapter, either. But, you get to see that Snape is beginning to remember some things and has to come to terms with the man he is, the good and the bad. He may not like what he sees when he starts to remember... I\'m glad you like the relationship between Snape and Camilla so far and that the story seems to be coming together for you.
