Hi, I'm Valentinia, your typical Harry Potter obsessed teen.
I've read the HP books so many times that I've lost count, but I'm guessing most of you on MNFF have done the same!
Otherwise, I'm pretty boring.
My favorite band is Evanescence.
My favorite HP characters are Luna "Loony" Lovegood and Petunia Dursley.
My favorite HP book is PoA.
My favorite HP chapter is "Career Advice" from OotP.
My favorite HP film is probably OotP.
My favorite HP actor is Evanna Lynch. There're a lot of great ones though!
I'm an all-out Ron/Hermione, Luna/Harry and Ginny/Neville shipper. *Sigh*. I know, I know, Canon just sort of ruined those last two. Still, Harry/Ginny was okay. I guess.
I also love stories about Parvati, Padma and Lavender, because I think they deserve some character and depth and they're often deprived of it and made into girly non-humans.

Wow. This story is really a very, very interesting one. It makes the reader think, but is also a well-written and has a great plot. I love the way you characterize both Hermione and Draco, because I think that those feelings are very lifelike, real emotions that real humans could/would have. I laughed when I read the part about Hermione reading the Da Vinci Code, though.... I don't know if you've read it, but they mention the HP series... :)

The bits of the quote throughout really add, too, as it describes Neville so well. Plus, I love how you start and end with his parents; those scenes really show Neville's never ending courage and hope! Wonderful! :D

Author's Response: Hey, you\'ve every right to bug me because you\'ve stuck with me for ages. The next chapter is actually a work in progress, but the progress is rather slow at the minute due to outside responsibilities! I\'m not going to bore you with the details but I have been trying to make a decison whether it is fair for me to continue this story since I cannot dedicate as much time to it as I would like, or indeed that the story deserves! If I do decide to withdraw the story, then I will probably still finish it and then re-post it when it is completed but I cannot guarantee when this will be! Please let me know your opinions.

I like this story a lot. I would just change one thing, about this chapter. I think that you shouldn't have Dean come across quite as nice and stuff. I don't mean he should be nasty, or anything like that, I just mean you should tell us why Ginny and Dean broke up and have the reason be very convincing. After all, Ginny shouldn't have any doubts that it's Harry she really loves.
Author's Response: Hi Valentinia, thanks for reviewing again. Just to put a few ghosts to rest... Dean is not nice... believe me when I say he has something nasty up his sleeve!!! The reason they split up in the first place is in the chapter-- Ginny saw Dean kiss Padma Patil, and despite his claims to the contrary it was not as innocent as it seems. Also I feel that Ginny may have only gone out with Dean as a consolation for Harry. This may not paint her in the best light, but frequently in love it is possible to end up in a situation where your heart lies towards another but your mind tell you to stay put. I haven't actually written the next chapter yet so I'm not sure when Dean will show his true colours but as the third movie suggests... something wicked this way comes!

Author's Response: Hey Valentinia, you have a fair point but in OOTP JK just has Ron throwing a wobbler when he finds out that Ginny is going out with Dean! She doesn't really explain it! I think it's probably more of a big brother protection type of thing and correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it Dean that Ron had the argument about quidditch teams/ football teams with in first year? (or was that seamus?) maybe that had something to do with it!
