Hi, I'm Valentinia, your typical Harry Potter obsessed teen.

I've read the HP books so many times that I've lost count, but I'm guessing most of you on MNFF have done the same!

Otherwise, I'm pretty boring.
My favorite band is Evanescence.
My favorite HP characters are Luna "Loony" Lovegood and Petunia Dursley.
My favorite HP book is PoA.
My favorite HP chapter is "Career Advice" from OotP.
My favorite HP film is probably OotP.
My favorite HP actor is Evanna Lynch. There're a lot of great ones though!

I'm an all-out Ron/Hermione, Luna/Harry and Ginny/Neville shipper. *Sigh*. I know, I know, Canon just sort of ruined those last two. Still, Harry/Ginny was okay. I guess.

I also love stories about Parvati, Padma and Lavender, because I think they deserve some character and depth and they're often deprived of it and made into girly non-humans.

And here some cool things from other people's profiles:

Weird is good, strange is bad, and odd is when you don't know which to call someone. Weird is the same as different, which is the same as unique,so weird is good. If you are weird and proud of it, copy this onto your profile!

92 percent of American teens would die if Abercombie and Fitch told them it was uncool to breathe. Copy this in your profile if you would be the 8 percent that would be laughing your head off.

If you're one of those people who get excited when you see just two reviews, paste this into your profile.

If you've been on the computer for hours on end, reading numerous fanfictions, copy this into your profile

If you don't watch Laguna Beach or the O.C. or The Hills religiously, never have, never will, and are proud of it, copy and paste this into your profile.

You know you live in 2007 when...

1. You go to a party, sit down and take MySpace pics.

2. You haven’t played solitaire with real cards in years.

3. The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is that they don't have AIM/LiveJournal/MySpace.

4. You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the button on the TV.

6. Your evening activity is sitting at the computer.

7. You read this list, and keep nodding and smiling.

8. You think about how stupid you are for reading this.

9. You were too busy to notice number five.

10. You actually scrolled back up to check if there was a number five.

11. And now you're laughing at your stupidity.

12. Put this in your pro if you fell for it. You know you did.

Ninety-five percent of teenagers are concerned about being popular. If you are one of the five percent who aren't, copy this, put it in your profile, and add your name to the list: Queen S of Randomness 016, Queen B of Randomness 016, AnimieKittyCaffe, The Gypsy Pirate Queen, That Bloody Demon, The Astrology Nerd, Shadow929, Crazy Billie Joe Loving Freak, Yavie Aelienel, Hyperactively Bored, Spymaster E, Shanny-Boo, Gem W, Brown-eyed angelofmusic, piratesswriter/fairy to be, Bara-Minomoto, Em Quagmire, Buffy The Mary-Sue Slayer, Random Little Writer, SamanthaFantasyFan, EdwardAddict, Supergirrl, Elemental-ANimal, Mother Nature's Daughter, Schmerg_The_Impaler, Carmona, Hanabi, Valentinia

Moons of Deceit by Grace has Victory

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Remus Lupin tolerates mischievous friends and lycanthropy, while the prophetic Ariadne MacDougal negotiates a misguided family, and everyone must deal with the Death Eaters. A rather dark coming-of-age story about the death of innocence and the renewal of hope during Voldemort’s first war.
Part I of The Moon-Cursers. Now updated to be DH-compatible.

Yet another wonderful chapter! I hope you don't mind my reviews all being along the same lines, but really, all of your chapters are great! I love the reference to "seven years ago" - now I'm completely sure I got the ages right! :D
Anyway, this was really a great chapter, I like how you reveal so much about all the characters, without making it seem like the information is dumped on the reader for no reason! The interwoven references to Voldemort are wonderful!
Also, Mary Ellis, you seem to deserve some credit, so I'll just take Grace has Victory's word for it, and assume that you were vital in the making of this masterpiece! So, great job to you, too!

Author's Response: Congratulations, Valentinia! You are the first reader to have recognised the identity of the great Potions student \"seven years ago\". Thanks for being a faithful reviewer; I have forwarded a copy of this one to Mary. Regards, GhV

Yet another good chapter! I still love your writing skills and your characterization! There is one thing I disagree on, though, at that is your thought (or maybe I'm just seeing this and you didn't intend it...) that Remus was only friends with Sirius and James and Peter because he had no one else. I think that, while he did feel more guilty about all the bad things they did then they themselves, there was still a real friendship between the four boys and that Remus did love his friends. But anyway...
still a good chapter! Can't wait to read the next!

Author's Response: Dear V, You\'re not the first person to whom I\'ve given this impression, so perhaps I could tighten the writing. I agree absolutely that Remus genuinely liked all his friends. The feeling that he didn\'t respect Sirius was a temporary one, connected only with The Prank. You have to admit that such an episode would try the patience of any person who had morals! The Sorting Hat placed the boys in Gryffindor because they were all made for each other. Even Peter had the potential, if only he had chosen to take advantage of it, and (in this version of the universe) Owen could have been a genuine fifth Marauder if he had lived. As to Remus\'s guilt, I have told what I would like to be believe is the true version in chapter 10. But you cannot expect a very satisfactory resolution to the Remus/Guilt issue, because Remus is an Arian heretic - and there lies the intrapsychic drama. Thanks for keeping with the story, GhV

Noo! They've found out about Veleta! The suspense is killing me... So I'll keep this review short. This was a really great chapter, and that I'm really starting to actively dislike Ariadne's parents! And those Slytherins!!

Author's Response: Yes, Valentinia, they have found out. And when you find out what they do to her, you may prefer the state of suspense. Ariadne\'s parents no heroes, but they are definitely better than the Slytherins. Perhaps that\'s why they see no need to improve themselves! Thanks for reviewing, GhV

The Secret Diary of Pugnatious Weasley by Sarakiel

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: "Good Morrow dear reader. If you are reading this, you have found the diary of Pugnatious Aramor Weasley. As to how you found this diary I have no idea as I’ve decided to toss the ruddy thing as soon as I become famous for fear that this incriminates me in any fashion. Unless I haven’t become famous in which cause that ruddy well blows doesn’t it?"

Initially written for the The One-Shot Monologue Challenge.

Don't have time to continue this story currently. So consider it a one-shot. If someone else wants to use the character, please feel free :)

Reviewer: Valentinia Signed
Date: 10/31/06 Title: Chapter 1: 1918

LOL! I love how Pugnatious says things that he thinks are so innocent, but that are actually hilarious. In fact, Pugnatious himself is really quite a handful, but doesn't realize it and that just adds to the hilarity. Also, the details are good, like with the potions, as is the reference to Snape's grandfather. Anyway, really good!

Journey On Water by SK witch

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After the downfall of Voldemort, Hermione decides to take a break and return to the Muggle world. Deciding to go on a Muggle cruise, Hermione realizes that it was the biggest mistake of her life. Now, she's stuck on a boat with her worst enemy. Fights and bickering continue to take place between them and maybe a little something else too...
Hermione makes new friends and meets up with an old friend, Jessie: an arrogant girl who treats Hermione like dirt and desperately tries to seek Draco's attention. (Slightly AU)

Awww. It wasn't too cliche at all, I thought it was pretty sweet! Fluff is good! :) I really enjoyed this chapter, Hermione and Draco sort of coming to terms with their feelings... I hope there's more on the ball coming, it promises to be cute! I love how they argue still, though, it makes everything much more realistic! Update soon! I love this fic!

Author's Response: Aw I\'m glad you think so! I was writing out that scene and absolutely loved it...I just hoped everyone else would, and I guess you guys did! =D oh oh oh! I\'m sooo excited about writing the next chapter! I know i say that everyime, but this time i\'m VERY excited! hahaha...lol thank you so much for leaving a review =)

Awww. Sweet! I can't believe you finally updated!!! But anyway, this chapter was really good, very romantic at the end. And I love the action between Hermione and Jessie - LOL! I can't wait to find out more though, it seems like it's not over yet... :) Plus, it's great how Violet and the boys are still friends with Jessie instead of her becoming one of those villainess Mary-Sues... Brilliant! In fact, I love all of your OCs, and it's great how IC both Hermione and Draco are. Great fic so far! Update again soooooon!

Author's Response: Yes, I\'ve finally updated! And you can expect them more and more often from now on as exams and scools now over! Woohoo!!

Wow, it seems literally EVERYBODY enjoyed the ending scene! Fantastic...I\'ll try to write more of those fluffy scenes from now on *winks* Im relieved you liked the Herm/Jessie action! I thought people would think that it wasn\'t enough and not a proper punishment for Jessie...But it seems I did pretty OK hm? =D

Im flattered to know you like all my OCs! I wanted them to seem really realistic - like people you could all relate to...! Wow, thank you soo much for your lovely review!!

The Long Way Home by Seren

Reviewer: Valentinia Signed
Date: 07/28/06 Title: Chapter 1: The Long Way Home

Awww. Though I don't really see this pairing happening, this is a very cute fic. I love how Blaise worries so much about what to say, and then, when she's there, he realizes he doesn't have to say anything at all. Also love the tea reference... It shows how much he really cares for her!

Once by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: Professors •
Summary: The Order has held its first meeting in No. 12, Grimmauld Place, and two of the members are lingering to discuss their chances. A Snape/Tonks moment, prompted by a musing on what talents went naturally with Legilimency.
Reviewer: Valentinia Signed
Date: 12/30/06 Title: Chapter 1: and Never Again

This story has a decidedly bittersweet touch to it. But it is very well - not to mention... decently - written. There is no explicit sexual description, but the point is made very clear.
Also, the opposing, yet, considering other parts of this series, quite similar, characters of Tonks and Severus are contrasted wonderfully, as their characters stay perfectly IC!

Author's Response: What can I say? I like mischief-makers. Xadie, I believe it was, mentioned the possibility of a Severus/Tonks, and I really liked the idea, but if it happened it couldn\'t have lasted long. And then there was this story in my head. Thanks!

Ever the Same by expecto_patronum_this

Aww! Fluff!! :D It's like.... cotton candy!! I really enjoyed this fic *has a perpetual grin platered to her face* Hermione's thoughts are so real and so cute, as is Ron *sigh*. The song tied in nicely, too!

Discovering the Bible in the House of Gaunt by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After his task is completed, Draco finds himself left alone to consider his assumptions. He finds interesting reading material to help him along as he frets in an abandoned hovel. This was a Ravenclaw entry for the February Challenges, in the "Love Yourself" category, in which the character had to feel better about himself at the end than at the beginning, and contains some adult themes and HBP spoilers.
Reviewer: Valentinia Signed
Date: 05/27/07 Title: Chapter 1: Discovering the Bible in the House of Gaunt

Interesting... I really enjoyed reading this! I'd actually wondered about how Draco would react to finding out about Hadrian and this brilliantly showed that as well as a change in Draco. Maybe there's hope yet, eh? One can hope... Though I must say that "lowly name Ron Wealsey" ... :D Great one-shot!

Author's Response: Thanks! This one\'s a little -- different, I guess is the word. Draco at a crisis point, having to sort things out.

Dumbledore's Favourite Girl by GringottsVault711

Reviewer: Valentinia Signed
Date: 07/03/06 Title: Chapter 1: Dumbledore's Favourite Girl

Okay, this story is really good and so I'm going to leave a review. Can't think of what to say, though. I guess: "I love the way you characterize both Tom and McGonagall; they both don't seem the least bit ooc and this story is very good, though it's quite dark, the.... heart of McGonagall is very up-lifting" will have to do.

Panacea by deanine

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A post-Hogwarts oneshot with Harry and Luna in an established relationship. It's a little fluffy and a little funny. This is a guilty pleasure, that will leave you with a sweet taste in your mouth. Follows Disengaged.

CUTE!

Author's Response: Thanks!

Waiting by Starmaiden

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Written after HBP was out, but before DH. It is therefore AU (though still, I think, plausible).

The trio is off Voldemort-hunting; Ginny works hard at school. When Hermione is injured and returns to the Hospital Wing, Ginny stays with her to talk over the events of the past year...and they wait.
Reviewer: Valentinia Signed
Date: 09/24/06 Title: Chapter 1: Waiting

Poor Ginny and Hermione, waiting with no news! I like how the things the trio has been doing are kept pretty vague - the friendship between the two girls is accented by that.

Author's Response: Yes. I wanted the idea that they were close once, but Hermione has other obligations, so things between them are not quite the same, but they still care very much.

Blue Eyes Reproachful by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Long enough to make sense...Short enough for Pig to carry...Long enough to say everything...Short enough for -- maybe send Pig somewhere else and borrow Hermes?

Originally for the February Challenges -- "It is better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all." A sequel to "Blue Eyes Reflecting."
Reviewer: Valentinia Signed
Date: 07/19/06 Title: Chapter 1: A Sequel

Aww. Cute. Poor Ron. Just like a teenage boy... There is just a bit of angst, too, though. After all, the whole letter is about saying that it "isn't going to work". A very different, clever and sweet but bitter fic.

Author's Response: Thanks! I get \"different\" a lot. It\'s a much nicer word than \"mental,\" for a start, so I like it. A good ship needs some tossing around, and I try to push out of normal narrative now and again. This challenge (diary or letter form) was a good incentive for both.

Neversent by Lacerated

Rated:
Summary: "I have a thousand dark nights that will never be spent with you. I have a chorus of broken voices. The victims of war. I have the misery, the stench of death in my hair. The poignant, musky odor that terrifies me of what is to come. The ringing of a hundred mournful cries." One-shot.

His Draught of Delicate Poison by Subversa

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: In the wake of the Final Battle, the Order has opened Headquarters to house its youngest members during a summer of Ministry-sponsored social events. Yay I remembered the reference! I guess it's not really fair though, since I've been reading this story all in one sitting. It's just too good to stop reading! Hmmm... looks like Skye and Harry might just be a teenage thing after all, huh. I guess time - and more chapters! - will tell! I'm still rooting for Remus and Tonks though!! And, of course Snape and Hermione!

Awwww. I like seeing the sweeter side of Severus - and you pull it off really well. Stormy is such a cute OC, I definitely like her best of all the sisters. As for the other two... well, they seem nice enough also, but that moment with Ginny made me wonder about Harry's affections. I hope everyone is happy in the end! Except for Fleur, I have no sympathy for her left! ;) Great fic! I especially enjoyed this chapter, I'm glad you showed something of the grief of Snape's family, it seemed like something just waiting to reveal itself.
