Hi, I'm Valentinia, your typical Harry Potter obsessed teen.
I've read the HP books so many times that I've lost count, but I'm guessing most of you on MNFF have done the same!
Otherwise, I'm pretty boring.
My favorite band is Evanescence.
My favorite HP characters are Luna "Loony" Lovegood and Petunia Dursley.
My favorite HP book is PoA.
My favorite HP chapter is "Career Advice" from OotP.
My favorite HP film is probably OotP.
My favorite HP actor is Evanna Lynch. There're a lot of great ones though!
I'm an all-out Ron/Hermione, Luna/Harry and Ginny/Neville shipper. *Sigh*. I know, I know, Canon just sort of ruined those last two. Still, Harry/Ginny was okay. I guess.
I also love stories about Parvati, Padma and Lavender, because I think they deserve some character and depth and they're often deprived of it and made into girly non-humans.

I'll continue right on, after just pointing out how wonderful this chapter is. Though after taking a break from reading all straight through it hit me how very uncanon this pairing is, it still works so well in your own AU universe. Plus, Hermione's parents were great... The marriage law... a hard one to pull of originally! But this looks quite promising, actually. I really enjoy your writing style, even though it's vastly un-Rowling. Good though! The characterization is really fun, and so far IC for Potter, even though the universe seems somewhat different. In a very intriguing way though! Think I'll go read the next chapter... :)

I was wondering the same thing - why Fleur? I hope we find out eventually! Other than that... :D Can't wait for Hermione to show up. And I hope everyone gets happy marriages, though I know how unlikely that is! In any case, the plot seems good, and I like the rate of progression so far, not too fast, not too slow. I can't believe anyone could pull off the marriage law, but you're doing a great job so far! *goes to read on*

Hehe, undeniable. Poor Fleur, though! I'm still really enjoying your Victorianish writing style, it's very original and makes the narration great to read! I think it's just slightly overdone in the dialogue, though - "pray tell", doesn't really seem like something Hermione would say, for example. Still, your characterization, though a little off the wall, is immensely fun to read, and IC enough to fit into the Potterverse. Loving the story. :D

Great argument! Again, I think the vocabulary and the way of speaking is a little OOC - especially for Hermione. But it's so fun to read, that I can overlook that quite easily. It's like... Potterized Jane Austen ;) and it's really a great read so far! Hermione the way you write her is so cool, but then, so's Snape. I hope Skye and Harry end up together!

Wow. This fic is definately very different, but still very good. There were, of course, a few typos here and there, but they were easy enough to overlook, with the overwhelming sadness that Ron was feeling. I could empathize with him, and his great love for Hermione was made clear. The letters were great, and their placing was really clever. The last two (well, the last one by Hermione and the one by Ron) very nearly made me cry... That's how sad and how well-written they were! I really enjoyed reading this fic!

I don't usually like Charlie/Hermione stories, but here it didn't bother me in the least, as this story was, after all, AU. I like how the characters are in character and yet so well adapted to such a different setting. Wonderful, if slightly fluffy (that's not a bad thing, :D) story. By the way, I loved the dresses, too. You must have put a lot of work into making this realistic, and you definately succeeded perfectly!

Lol! Severus just can't accept Eris "Hufflepuff side", can he? :D This chapter had it all! Sweet Christmas presents, Epis being helpful (LOL!) and dark dreams of creepy psychos. I'm not sure I understand how Severus knew the dream (did Voldemort give it to him on purpose?) but it was definitely scary and very realistic. And I'm glad James enjoyed his date with Lily! :)
Author's Response: Severus \'took\' the dream. He learned it from Tyr during their conversation about the differences between \'Vald\' and Legilimency.
I\'m glad you like the James/Lily subplot. I know a lot of OFC writers make the poor girl suffer through a love triangle with one or more of the Marauders, heh, but Severus is all she wants or needs! :D

But I enjoyed seeing Luciif/Luci and Narcissa! :D And I wonder how she's going to break the news about "Epis" to Severus! Plus... I hope Claire/Tom works out. Maybe she can make him less... creepy. Valentines Day was sweet! :)
