Hi, I'm Valentinia, your typical Harry Potter obsessed teen.
I've read the HP books so many times that I've lost count, but I'm guessing most of you on MNFF have done the same!
Otherwise, I'm pretty boring.
My favorite band is Evanescence.
My favorite HP characters are Luna "Loony" Lovegood and Petunia Dursley.
My favorite HP book is PoA.
My favorite HP chapter is "Career Advice" from OotP.
My favorite HP film is probably OotP.
My favorite HP actor is Evanna Lynch. There're a lot of great ones though!
I'm an all-out Ron/Hermione, Luna/Harry and Ginny/Neville shipper. *Sigh*. I know, I know, Canon just sort of ruined those last two. Still, Harry/Ginny was okay. I guess.
I also love stories about Parvati, Padma and Lavender, because I think they deserve some character and depth and they're often deprived of it and made into girly non-humans.

I hope he gets over that. As if everything is an attack on his person and an insult to his circumstances.
Great chapter, though! Severus' reaction (if unfounded!) was realistic and Dani was very cute! I love that her boyfriend kisses "with his lips closed"! :D And that she used to like Severus. :)
I hope Severus and Eris can come out in the open about their relationship though, and I'm very glad his mother approves! I can't wait to read about their tea session!
Author's Response: When you\'re little, kissing with lips closed earns a boy brownie points. When you\'re older, it earns him a \'Dear John\' letter, heehee.

How do you manage to have a serious tone and then suddenly throw humor in and make it work? :D I loved the invisible car scene! That was hilarious, and I grin at Narcissa's humor every time! Plus, "Epis" is always a laugh! :D I really enjoyed this chapter, it's great to see the plot unfold so precisely and yet be so unforced!

Awww. I'm glad Eris isn't mad at him for the Malfoy thing. And I hope Malfoy doesn't find out any more! The Bellatrix bit was really funny, especially Eris' reaction! LOL! And the description at the beginning was great! It's so obvious to the reader that it's no mere cat, but it's also obvious to the reader why Severus would fall for it! :)
Author's Response: Bella is a character I happily eviscerate in fiction! LOL. Severus won\'t be happy about falling for it when he discovers the truth, though.

I was hoping it wouldn't be like this... But I have confidence that she will be able to explain. Hopefully... What a cliffie! This chapter was brilliant, though! I love the beginning! I don't expect Severus would appreciate the fact that I was giggling like mad throughout his little tour, but perhaps you would, :D. I must find out what happens next, now...

Awww. Even though this chapter revealed some... darker aspects of Eris'... messed-up... family, that last scene was soooo sweet! I love when you have Severus act - as he would say - Hufflepuff. Of course, it'd be weird if he were always like that, but once in a while it's very cute and even IC! :D
Author's Response: Like you said- every once in awhile, because everyone has all aspects of the Houses within them, some are just WAY more prominent than others! :D

Sort of overreacting, I'd say. Not that Severus was being very tactful... and yet, it shows how much he cares, doesn't it? :D As usual, this was a brilliant chapter! I really like seeing all the purebloods... really great how some always kind of amuse with their stupidity and arrogance while others really make you feel that chill... And have I mentioned that Eris is a really cool OC? :D

I'll miss Jugson and "Laurie" too! :D It seems Tom has gotten a bit less creepy, but still... you wrote him brilliantly, very much an original character, even if he is canon, :). He's scary, but you pulled it off, if that makes sense. And I'm so glad Severus and Eris will be together now! Though I wonder how the whole "Knights" thing will progress... and the apprenticeship! I can't wait to read the sequel!

Aw, poor Sirius. Not really... :D I like how Severus and Eris are becoming friends. Eris is a fun character, as is your "version" of Snape. I can't wait to see where this fic leads and how it continues! Plus, the Marauders' descriptions were funny - I can just see James being "self-righteous" like that. :D I'd be annoyed too!
Author's Response: I thought it extremely interesting that Harry was annoyed with his dad\'s behavior in Snape\'s Worst Memory. He has more in common with the malevolent bat, heh, but in sheer dislike of Slytherin, I think he\'s most like Sirius. :]

I wonder what's up with Epis... hmmm... She's one cool cat so far, though! :D It's nice to see Severus relax like with her, even if she's a cat! I really enjoyed this chapter! The hospital wing scene was really funny and I can't wait to find out more about when Eris used that blood spell!

Author's Response: Near the end of the story, Eris finds out that Fenrir may have turned Remus, but it wasn\'t because of her-- she really feels stupid then! I thought it would make her more \'real\' to make a grand gesture, and then find out it wasn\'t needed.

Aw. Dani is such a sweet kid! Maybe a little Hufflepuff... but only a little! Tom is such a creepy character! And the whole thing with him and Sutton and Erik was very... interesting... Poor Severus and Eris... I would hate to find my brother like that... or to know that my brother was a royal arse... But either way, great chapter!

And this promises to be a great read! I really like your character of Eris! She keeps seeming to be almost a Mary Sue only to... you know, not be... :) And I like your portrayal of Snape! I smiled over your review- that\'s the handicap of writing OFC, lol. Ever read the HP Mary Sue Litmus Test? Even if your character isn\'t incredibly beautiful, popular in all Houses, talented, desired by males, envied by females and doesn\'t change/save the boy she has a romance with, you still have points against her for being an attractive female, non-canon character having a romance with a canon character. I learnt to live with it, since I must admit when I read OFC I tend to have a \'prove to me she\'s not a Sue\' attitude. :D

Aw. Love Severus with the cat, :D. And poor Eris! What a nasty thing for "Uncle Fenny" to do to her! I wonder how this fic with progress, and I'm really enjoying seeing more on Eris' and Severus' characters! Plus, the bit about Narcissa was rather sad, and did add to the chapter. Which was great, by the way, :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I have a different characterization of Narcissa in this story. She\'s self-absorbed and vain, but she\'s mad about Lucius and a good friend. Uncle Fenny gets even more interesting as time goes on.

Yay for Slinky! He finds his way into everything, doesn't he? :D Otherwise, this chapter was cool, too! I keep reading Eris instead of Erik whenever he shows up... Had me freaked for a second there... But I can't wait to see what happens when Snape is brought to... wherever they're taking him... And I feel so sorry for Eris! Her uncle... *shudder* How can she look at Remus? Anyway...great chapter!

I knew we'd see the cat again! :D Seeing Severus' choices and his life, really, unfold like this is very interesting! As is Eris' life! Love Kettleburn, of course! :) And I can't wait to see the two's lives become more intertwined... :D
One thing though, why do the Marauders think of Severus as a future Death Eater if they're still called Knights of Walpurgia (sp...?)? Other than that, great chapter! I can't wait to read the next! :D
Author's Response: Kettleburn is a cross between Billy Connolley\'s Uncle Monty in a Series of Unfortunate Events and a Monty Python character. :D I\'m glad you love him too!
The Knights of Walpurgis are the secret organization Voldemort supporters that maintain their places in society, while DE\'s are the what the public know. They\'re the inner circle who wreak havoc and often have their faces on \'Most Wanted\' posters! :)

It's nice to see Severus acting like a normal, not too angsty teenage boy! I hope he gets the girl! :D And I can't wait to find out what the mysterious plan is... Plus, Eris is fun! I love Claire and Narcissa, especially - a whole new spin on her character and Claire is a fun OC; a different perspective of the cliché snobby pureblood. Brilliant!
Author's Response: Narcissa has so few \'walk on\' moments in the book, her characterization can vary wildly and still be believable. Thanks for liking her in this story, and snobby purebloods who are more than that.

Wow. Poor Remus. It's really amazing how, in such a short piece you manage to convey his character and his feelings of grief and anger. Especially the ending is wonderful, as it shows the extent of Remus' grief, while he stays in his "calm" character - to some extent. Skillfully written, too

Cool fic! It's very original, and very cleverly written. I like having the POV be of an unnamed reporter, but how the characters of the characters (lol...) still come through so well! Especially in such a (for canon) ridiculous situation for them to be in! :D Really, a hilarious fic!
