Hi, I'm Valentinia, your typical Harry Potter obsessed teen.
I've read the HP books so many times that I've lost count, but I'm guessing most of you on MNFF have done the same!
Otherwise, I'm pretty boring.
My favorite band is Evanescence.
My favorite HP characters are Luna "Loony" Lovegood and Petunia Dursley.
My favorite HP book is PoA.
My favorite HP chapter is "Career Advice" from OotP.
My favorite HP film is probably OotP.
My favorite HP actor is Evanna Lynch. There're a lot of great ones though!
I'm an all-out Ron/Hermione, Luna/Harry and Ginny/Neville shipper. *Sigh*. I know, I know, Canon just sort of ruined those last two. Still, Harry/Ginny was okay. I guess.
I also love stories about Parvati, Padma and Lavender, because I think they deserve some character and depth and they're often deprived of it and made into girly non-humans.

I don't really think that Harry would go into hiding, but otherwise this story is really good. It's well-written, and you made it so the reader can understand everyone's feelings and thoughts, not just one "side's", which is often very hard to do!

An interesting interpretation of Lucius and Narcissa's relationship! Though it's obviously AU, the feelings you describe seem realistic and very sad. I really enjoyed the imagery, too, and the song lyrics throughout the text. The writing, though very good, didn't quite seem to fit to the topic, though, but maybe that's just me. All in all, this was a very good fic!

Oh gosh, I've just finished reading and realized I've enjoyed your whole story without leaving a single review! Eeek! I really enjoyed this story. Laura is a believable OC, and a fun one to read about. I also really loved your characterization of both Percy and Oliver, and of all of your OC Seventh Years. The characterization of the canon charcters was IC and yet original and the OCs stayd consistant throught the entire fic. And Percy was believable, yet likeable.
The plot was just as good as the characterization. I love the premise of the relationship between Oliver and Laura, and I love how long it takes them, because that makes it realistic and romantic, in an odd way... :D
The ending was great, too. Kind of bittersweet, with Percy, but I'm glad Laura finds happiness in the end, even if it could be better. We don't leave the story thinking "And happily ever after... so what?" No, we leave thinking "Well, she has Oliver. That should be enough." Very real, very touching. As was the whole story.
I can't list all of my favorite parts here, but suffice to say, this is a brilliant story. You obviously put a lot of work into it, and it paid off! A completely delightful read!
Author's Response: It\'s always great to hear when people find the plot and the characters believable. Hopefully Percy redeems himself in the Deathly Hallows--if he doesn\'t, he\'s going to lose a little of his believability in this fic. :-)
