I like L/J fanfictions. There my favorite!!!
1983. In a world where Voldemort has won the First War, where hope has fled from an Earth moaning under the Dark Lord's iron hand, marriages are broken and others are arranged in order to preserve the sacred purity of blood. James Potter loses his wife; now they have to find another for him.
I love your constant references to the Holocaust. It's very intriguing, seeing as I love history. I am a very sensitive person when it comes to writing or movies because I really put myself in one of the character's shoes. For this story, I chose James. I found myself heartbroken and when I was trying to sleep that night I couldn't help but burst into tears. You are an amazing writer. I love stories that I can get into deeply. Update ASAP.
Oh, I love the use of the French. I am in the midst of learning it and I get really excited when I recognize what your saying.
Author's Response: Those references to the Holocaust are, for the most part, unintentional; they\'re a direct consequence of what JKR wrote about purity of blood... Denuncing nazism is absolutely not the main purpose of this story, though I admit there are very strong similarities between Hitler\'s ideology and Voldemort\'s. I am sorry to learn I made you burst into tears -- though at the same time, I am very happy you were able to get into the story so deeply. I understand why you felt so sorry for James -- he\'s so cold and distant towards Marie-Antoinette that I had to write a few paragraphs in his point of view, to explain his behaviour. Yes, he is heartbroken.
I\'m glad you liked my using French, here and there :D. I am using my French origins in every story I write, though I\'m using them rather discreetly usually. This is THE story in which I constantly refer to France and French, seeing the main character is French (I am even translating this story into French). Good luck with learning it -- it is a truly beautiful language, but it\'s rather complicated sometimes...
Thanks for the review! I\'ll try to update fast, as I\'m FINALLY on holidays...
