Interesting rewriting of the situation, but you certainly made it quite plausible!

Harry isn't with them and they don't know what happened. Where are they? And who are the redhead children running down the stairs? Why have they been sent? I saw this on your sig in the 'Fanfic Pet Peeves' thread over at CoS - it's an interesting setup, certainly, although some of the characters seem a bit ... flat? (But others are great - Ron/Hermione's daughter for example.) BIG quibble though - and apologies if it has been asked and answered before - is that James and Lily don't seem to be asking a lot of obvious questions. Like: what happened to us at Godric's Hollow? What ARE we if we're not ghosts? Is there any way we can communicate with people two-way? (I did notice your comment above that James and Lily wouldn't be able to have a conversation with Harry, but presumably, based on what they've done so far, they could order someone to say or write something, and generally slowly get the idea across that they were being talked to?) The plot is interesting enough, but James and Lily as onlookers are literally not involved in it?

Author's Response: Thank you for reading. As for your question, James and Lily wont be able to communicate two ways with anyone. The powers of their comminication are very limited - but will come in handy later.

A Seed From The Ground by Seren

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Auror-in-training Kingsley Shacklebolt is learning to blend in with the crowd in downtown London. There, he meets a small, lost girl, and learns how much impact a simple act of kindness can really have.

Nice little 'parallels' story -- makes a pleasant change to see Kingsley in a story (even if he was at a loss how to deal with kids :D), and little!Hermione was very plausible. The remembered quote was most effective.

Threads by Seren

Rated:
Summary: Yet another 'How Vicky met Herm-own-ninny' story. Viktor/Hermione.

An enjoyable and plausible K/Hr story. I do like to see this relationship in GoF taken seriously. :)

Staring at The Wall by ProfPosky

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: A Gryffindor entry for the Spring Challenge, challenge number one. How did Hagrid survive his time in Azkaban during CoS? Read and find out!

Nice little Missing Moment (although I thought Hagrid was supposed to be a bit more despairing by the end?). But it's good to see a Hagrid fic that treats him seriously!

Control the Wind by Doctor Phoenix

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Theodore Nott thought he was in control of his life. When a tragedy makes him realize that he's not, he'll do whatever it takes to get that control back...even allying himself with people he has always considered his enemies.

“You can’t always control the wind, but you can control your sails.” -Anthony Robbins

The rating may go up in later chapters. I will not incorporate any events from Deathly Hallows.

Interesting start and characterisation -- Theo's a bit of a mystery in canon, so a version of him as an anti-Voldemort Slytherin is good!

Rat by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: "If he really is a rat, it won't hurt him," said Remus in PoA. How did he know?

Written for the Peter one-shot challenge, prank prompt, by Vindictus Viridian of Ravenclaw House. Humor warning.
