I've written some fan fiction for Harry Potter, and other fantasy or sci-fi series like Star Wars or Star Trek, and enjoy writing it for Harry Potter. Snape rules!
Nice, interesting fan fiction, better than the regular run of the mill Snape and Harry stuff. PLEASE keep writing, and please keep it clean, or I can't read it anymore, which would be a real shame, since I'm interested in it.
Please update! I love the story, and I want to know what happens!
Great story! You are a fnny creative writer! Love the Donne and Blitzen thing. Please update!!
You know, if I were Harry I wouldn't really care if I sucked my thumb, I'd just be happy I wasn't stuck at the Burrow for five more years!! I think he might need transformed again... Very interesting story, quite gripping, I lke your Harry and Ginny and Hermione and Ron pairings.
Author's Response: What do you mean he needs transformed again? How so? You're right about the thumb sucking, it's just a side affect from being little so long and will pass. Thanks for reviewing.
Ron is a brat in this story. I also think Mrs. Weasley is harsh. Harry is being bratty, but spanking like that is too degrading. I hate to sound like a psychologist or anything, and it's just a story. Great job writing.
Author's Response: I don't mind psychology. I happen to like it. Yes, both boys were brats. The spanking was actually put in because some readers thought it would make that better, I don't know. I knew some people would not approve.
Great story! I talked to you in the Mugglenet chat, which I've since given up. Too many juvenile people. Anyhow, I like your story, good writing, nice plot, interesting cliff hanger. Chapter two? Please?!!! (I can understand if it's waiting in the que. All of mine are as well.)
Loved the story, I never knew about the Lupin and Tonks pairing before now. I think it could work, and being a huge Lord of the Rings fan, I liked the reference, I've wondered myself whether Hermione has read any Muggle books that I like. Could you cut the language with the next story maybe? That was the one thing I didn't really like about it. I think Hermione should have read LOTR more recently so she could quote the passage, which is really beautiful. :)
Author's Response: *cringes* Ah, language, language. 'Tis a bad habit. I never go for excessive swearing, but I'll use bl**dy and d**n a few times, I know. LotR = SO AWESOME AHH. Sorry. A Moment, there. Was that 'Hermione should have read it more recently' directed at me? *nudge nudge wink wink* I haven't read it in AGES. Well, I read it last summer. And I didn't feel like flipping through and finding that quote again. Truthfully, I didn't even remember there was a quote. I like the books and I LOVED the movies (I'm not a 'LotR fan just because I watch the movies;' I have indeed read the books), so I went by the movie on that one, since I'd just watched it. ANYHOO...thank you so much for leaving this review for me!
One last note: I'm not picking on your writing or anything, I'm just a died in the wool Lord of the Rings fan, so (and of course a Lupin and Tonks fan.) so I love to see it quoted in other stories.:) Let me say again, loved the story. Can't wait to see your Harry Ginny story, I think they'll actually get together someday.
Author's Response: I did not think you were picking on my writing at all! Gads, my writing felt complimented by you, if anything. :) The Harry/Ginny story is one hold, but, in case you'rein the least bit interested, the sequel to this one (sadly LotR-less *cries*) is called All I Ask of You, and I have a Lily/James one out there called I Don't Know How to Love Him. *shifty eyes* Of course I'm not obsessed with Broadway! Me? Never...lol. I don't think those two have quite as much language in them, if that makes you feel any better. *wince* Sorry. I'll see what I can do about that. Again, thanks so much for reviewing!
Your stories are the funniest in the humor section! This one was great, I love the poultry thing, and the left sock and Peru! I'm glad you know that chaos does not equal funny as far as stories are concerned, your story is hilarious, love it!
Author's Response: Glad you think I'm funny!
I know I've reviewed like twice before, but I just watched the Phantom of the Opera, and it made this story even better, now that I've actually heard the song! It fits Remus and Tonks so well, great, great choice for the story. You really do look practically psychic with your two Remus and Tonks stories after the HBP revelation! I can't believe it actually happened! It's the best pairing in the books, bar none! And don't worry about people who say song fics stink. They just haven't read any good ones. If I meet any, I'll be sure to direct them here so they can see some skilled writing..... :)
Author's Response: Yay, Tabitha Snape! Awww, I'm so excited to see you. The new Phantom movie, you say? That's such a gorgeous song, really, I don't think I did it justice. As for canon R/T...I nearly had a heart attack after reading it. I had to curl up in the fetal position and concentrate on breathing for awhile. Then I put the book down, worshipped it, screeched, and hugged my mum in excitement. She was a little worried, haha. R/T = pure, unadulterated looooove. And thanks for redirecting anti-songfic traffic over here. ^_^ That makes me happy. Thanks for popping back up, Tabitha!
Loved it! Great ending, it's so much cooler when they get married in the end instead of just letting us "assume" they eventually get together unless of course they find someone cuter! Wow, lifelong comittment, how shocking!! ;) (Princess Diaries 2 Ugghh! Not that I exactly hated the movie, but Andrew was so much nicer, and if you haven't watched the movie, I don't blame you, and you can skip this part of the review) Dumbledore as the preacher was cute, (was Hermione bridesmaid? :) I liked how Hermione always sorted things out for Tonks, she's that kind of person I guess. Anyway, really nice fan fic, your Lupin and Tonks fics are the best. (P.S. The absence of Lord of the Rings quotes is sad, but the fic is great)
Author's Response: Didn't want you guys up in the air over their marriage. *wink* I saw PD2! Jeez, whatever happened to following the books?! And come on, that Chris guy, or whoever he was, was cuter, but Andrew was British! You can't not fall for the chivalrous British guy! Hermione, problem-fixer that she is, was indeed Tonks's bridesmaid and general coordinator. Thanks so much for the review, I loved it to bits!
I also must say that I agree with Slytherin gal, what about them having kids? That would be awesome, I was acutally thinking that even before I saw that smart Slytherin gal's review. Great minds.... :)
Author's Response: *twitch* My mind is coming up blank with a sequel to the sequel. Sorry. :( I do not think it is to be. But thanks for the suggestion! (Et tu, slytherin gal.)
Hi! I read your story, and I love how everybody is all happy and together, Lupin and Tonks, Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermione, etc. I've always like the parts of the HP books where everyone is just happy and having a good time the best, like Harry getting his first birthday cards in book three and them having thier first classes with Lupin. Your relationships seem to be progressing. Are they going to get into any danger in later chapters? (I might suggest a little less "making out", even if they are teenagers most of them...) It's nice to have a summer story about all the characters being happy and having a nice time. Hopefully Molly and Arthur get some time off as well. Anyhow, nice, sweet story, and you are a good writer. :)
(If you're interested in a wierd/funny Snape fan fic try Snape's last stand. The startings kind of slow, (I had to make it 800 words at least) and I may be a little biased toward it (hem, hem,) considering who the author is, but if you're bored, I'd love for you to read it. Of course, you have no obligation. Have a nice day!)
Author's Response: Thank you for the critisism. I'm looking forward to taking this story in a different direction at some point, but I don't expect it to be terribly long. I hope you'll be pleased with the result.
Fascinating depressed Tonks poem. The emotion is real and I love the angle. Falling in love is such a weird phrase when you think about it. I feel for Tonks, Lupin was being noble, but kind of silly. Anyway, I thought the poem was very well done, but I would have left out the swear words. That's not my thing.
