I am an Asian currently residing in Africa who writes about European characters in what I assume is American English. If this doesn't sound weird, try reading my stories!

From Africa I have moved to Dubai after a short stint in India. I apologize for the delay in my stories. I will revert to the vicinity!

A Tale of Two Matchmakers by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!

Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.

* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *

(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)

I started reading this and enjoyed the first chapter. But I have forgotten the details of the Shakespeare story. Is there some online source where i can brush up on the characters?

Author's Response: Thank you for reading this story! This isn\'t a retelling of the play, so you don\'t have to do research! In the play, it\'s hinted that Beatrice and Benedick have a romantic past that didn\'t end well, now both are sarcastic wits with no interest in marriage. Their friends, however, believe they belong together and conspire to hook them up by telling each one that the other is in love with them. Even when the two fall in love, they have a hard time revealing that emotion....that\'s the part of the play that I used for inspiration, and it\'s just a starting point, really, and I use quotes from many plays and sonnets, because there is just too much great Bard to borrow! :D

I loved the fic. I loved the zany characters, the appropriate quotes and the many fantasies and sub-plots that played out. I am sorry that I couldn't review chapter by chapter because of my faulty internet connection, hence saved the whole story to read at leisure. But I will be coming back on various aspects for the story. This was such a 'feel good' story for me after the depressing DH. Thank you!

Author's Response: I love that you read this story to cheer yourself up! Thank you for saving the story so you could read it, even with faulty internet. That makes me feel good, and I hope you\'re starting to come out of your DH depression and feel good too! ^_^

How do you describe a moment so priceless, that has lead us up from their first kiss? It painted a beautiful picture in our minds, that we filled in a lot of strokes with our own colours!

Author's Response: Yay, you got a chance to read! *does happy dance*

Author's Response: I\'m so glad you found the picture beautiful, and that you have a wonderful imagination to paint in what was left undescribed with vivid colours of your own. Thank you! :)

We are happy you were nominated for the awards. Here's a small poem for you:

Awards may come and awards may go,

But you will always be our hero.

MNFF may pass you by, but you will always be,

Our inspiration, our muse - our dear Kerichi!

I am sure that there are a lot of fans out there who will agree with me.

I think that the transition from GoF to OotP is taking shape nicely. Should there be more references about the Underground getting converted to the new OotP?
'Adult Conspiracy' was zany. Please work in some extendable ears. We await futher atrocities in the attic.

Author's Response: The Underground will definitely be mentioned again in a future chap when Tonks and Emmeline talk. Glad you liked the Adult Conspiracy and I\'ll definitely keep your Extendable Ear request in mind....what should Fred and George hear, Hmmmm? Oh the possibilities....:D

Author's Response: D\'oh, forgot to say Thank you so much for the poem! I\'m keeping my nominee banner and my Jack Sparrow attitude about it....I was nominated, and for readers to do that is the real prize! *hugs*

Remus and Mom was sooo cute. Seems just like the thing he'd do.

Author's Response: Remus would be the favourite brother, so good thing he didn\'t have one! :D

What surprise happens in the next full moon? That requires thought!

Author's Response: Thoughts I have, plenty...it\'s the writing them down that\'s the tricky part, heh.

Remus and his Mother is a beautiful piece. Just like Remus! It's not only the story that amzes me week after week; you put a lot of effort and research into even smaller details of your stories! That's awe inspiring!

Author's Response: Remus had to have been one of the best sons in history. He\'s so sweet! Thank you for enjoying the little details. They\'re a lot of fun to write, so I\'m glad they\'re fun to read! :)

The scene with Kreacher was a gem. Please harass him further! Other than Cami's visit, make Sirius 'get up' to something! But most of all, please avoid the grim old place for at least two chapters.

Author's Response: Aha! A challenge! Next chapter, I think you\'ll find Tonks takes some of the Grim out of Grimmauld, and you might not mind the place so much! :D

Hagrid's Heart by Kerichi

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

Gem of a piece on Hagrid. It is rarely that we come across stories where he is not a bumbling oaf. Could you do a sequel?

Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much for asking! *hugs* It would be fun to imagine a Hagrid and Olympe \'camping\' story. :D
