Wow. It's really over? But I don't want it to be! Haha! I started reading this fic when there was only about 25-30 chapters. I cannot believe that you got 96 chapters out of it! Incredible.
I had been looking for a good Marauder era story, and when I found yours, I was hooked instantly.
The way you really dug deep into the characters, and gave us such a believable back story; it is truly incredible. I mean, like, the Marauder's Map, and when they became animagi. I could totally see that as canon!
I have laughed at their crazy antics. I have cried, well, quite a few times. I have fallen in love with this generation, and now that I know their history, I miss them even more.
I think Jo should read this story, and then tell us how spot on you were for it!
Brilliant job on this fic. I am giving you a standing O for giving me a couple of years' enjoyment, and for giving us the ultimate prequel to the amazing world of Harry Potter! THANK YOU!!!

I tried to keep as canon as it could have been, which in most cases was remembering to put certain events in at the right time... I love that you just referred to this as the Marauders' history! Great chapter! I loved the bantering between the Marauders. And the dance idea: very clever! But of course, Snape has to ruin everything.
I do like that this is in James' POV, but I don't see why you couldn't do an aside or something for Lily to show the argument.
